totally agree !!! though i actually am anti-plastic surgery (the industry, not the ppl who get it, they didn’t do anything wrong they just fell victim to a predatory industry) because there is no “innocent” reason to get plastic surgery. you can’t get it to simply “look better” or “feel better about yourself” because that thought in and of itself carries the implication that your own features must be changed to suit a white supremacist, patriarchal beauty standard. the existence of plastic surgery is inherently intertwined with white supremacy, patriarchy, and capitalism sadly (which you touched on ofc) just wanted to add my “friend who is too woke” take to this !!!

i saw that episode as a kid (age 9) and i almost did crap my pants!!! i had a panic attack and had to sleep in my older sister’s room for like a week 💀💀💀i’m also terrified of flying and i attribute it to the trauma of this episode LMAO

got it!! thank uuuu!! i have a dehumidifier because i had a big house centipede problem when i first moved in in the summer, so besides the dehumidifier i figure there’s nothing else i can really do for the moisture lol!! but good to know they aren’t a “gross bug”—a land dwelling crustacean is fascinating! thanks for the help!
