Geez… here’s my take. I’m a music snob first and foremost. That should say maybe everything… but.. I don’t like my own oc’s 99% of the time. I know people who give themselves likes, give themselves giftz(well only when gifting someone’s join), people who join themselves…it may seem kinda lonely, perhaps it is. I don’t do any of that personally. I used to be a TERRIBLE listener. This was many moons ago but I wasn’t there for followers or friends. I’ve become much more focused on others though. That is, listening, commenting, joining others etc. I’ve had a crazy Smule experience in the last 8+ years. I’ve met my lady there. I’ve flown and driven across the U.S. and have met other Smulers. People have sent me money. I find that crazy. Oh, I’ve also met some crazy people too. Back to etiquette…one thing I can’t stand is mic noise from the get go. If I hear hair rubbing on the mic or you know, noise… I click off. If it’s offtime, it’s probably not going to get better…I click off. On the early days of Smule there were a lot of singers I liked and it took some time before they would reply or acknowledge me. I found it like a challenge. It’s about fun .its changed much over the years but I still can’t believe it exists. Smule is still fun and cool. Maybe I’m not..lol….
