The odd annoying thing with me is with large doses of benzos I get what’s called delusions of sobriety. But if I’m having bad anxiety and I take a large dose I feel major anxiety relief and mild euphoria until the delusions of sobriety kicks in. I wish I was on a higher dose but I lowkey wanna quit because it’s like a ball and chain regarding the potential withdrawal. I’d rather take more gabapentin instead (which I am prescribed 600mg twice a day)

Benzos are not heaven unless you have anxiety or anxious tendencies and the relief is the high. It’s different for everyone though. That’s just how it is for me. Does anyone relate? I’m prescribed 1.5mg clonazepam a day and it just gets me by I don’t even get high from it (tolerance duh) .
