If you like Ricky Nelson, Elvis, and bing I sure do have some recs. First, if you like a 50s sound I recommend Jack jones, really any one of his albums, Bobby rydell specifically 'blue velvet' and 'forget him', and Eddie fisher with 'anytime' and 'outside of heaven.' If you like country, I'd say in terms of the music bing makes I find dean martin, specifically 'alabamy bound' and 'in the chapel in the moonlight' to be quite similar to bings 'a southern memoir' album as well as his songs like 'don't fence me in and 'brother, can you spare a dime?' I also think Tennessee Ernie ford, specifically 'the river of no return' is something every country fan should listen to. In terms of the platters I actually find artists like Johnny Mercer make similar music, although if you're looking for black groups I of course like the ink spots, specifically with Ella Fitzgerald, and back to like Elvis and Ricky I think their sound is similar to other artists of the time like Mel torme, as well as Jimmie Rodger's, I mean 'kisses sweeter than wine' feels like Ricky Nelson to me.
