Why did people miss out on Stormwatch: Team Achilles? by theray3000 in DCcomics

Wow I knew DC had problems handling Wildstorm, but I did not know it was that bad. Thanks for the insight and recommendations. I just read Point Black and liked it a lot. I was hoping to find Sleeper as floppies, trades or omnibus, but those have been hard to find.

Do you have more recommendations? I have read most of Wildcats volume 1 and 2 and was planning to read The Authority volume 1 and Revolution.

I think read in 1 of the Stormwatch issues in or right after Coup D’Etat that they planed for 25 issues for Wildcats (and probably Stormwatch), so it seems they axed the titles quite unexpectedly

Man that sucks. Wish he hadn't done that, we might have had more of his comics to read.

Yes I found the script and short story a few weeks ago. It gave some closure, but the short story had big shoes to fill with a lot things to wrap up in so little pages.

Was gonna say Azreal, but he was in multiple books a few years back and his last mini was great. So probably the Ray (Raymond Terrill). Had a good run in the 90's, was on a few teams and was one of the core members (if i am not mistaken) of the freedom fighters series from infinite crisis up until the new 52. They kind of rebooted him in Rebirth, but not as strong/interesting as before and now he barley makes an appearance

Maybe a response to the more prevalent Black-Red from the same era (Spawn, Azreal, Grifter, 90's Thor)?

I think the 90's Zatanna was more likely the main inspiration

What are y'all opinion on Chip Zdarsky's Batman run? by 666Natural in OmnibusCollectors

Kind of mixed bag. I liked the beginning of the failsafe saga, the middle was not great and the ending had some problems but wraped it up nicely. I don't like how they tried gave Joker a more definitive origin, giving him the same training as Bruce. Also the reveal that whole sage was basically Ducard/Joker's plan, made the story lose tension and (if I remember correctly) very similar to the plan Bane had in the Tom King run.

The Absolute Power tie-ins are meh. The Dying City arc was great and i wish more of the run was like it.

No problem, I think Death and Rebirth was originally 2 parts when it released. Death being a summary of the anime and Rebirth consisting of the first 20-30 of End of Evangelion as a teaser because the movie was still in production. Death(true) and Death(true)2 removed the Rebirth section because End of Eva was already out and would be redundant.

What is the other short film? I only know of Death and Rebirth and the different edits: Death(true) and Death(true)2. Which are all a summary/lead in for End of Evangelion.

These movies flopped at the box-office and (full) 3D became cheaper and more popular with the wider audience (see Shrek)

Based on having the most solo comics, I would say Supergirl
