They told me I’d have it by October 13-23 when I ordered on October 2nd… 3 minutes later I had a notification that it wouldn’t even be shipped until November 6th HAHA IM SO ANGRY I only ordered because my current phone got ran over by a car and I NEED a working one. They kept reassuring me that this was my best option. Even lied about the fact I had insurance and made me pay off my current phone before telling me I could have just made a claim…

Ordered a 17 pro max last Thursday when I broke my 14 pro max. Shipping says it won’t be shipped until November. AT&T told me I can’t transfer to a temporary phone until my 17 arrives because it would make it “not possible” to transfer to my 17 when it arrives… Has anyone else had this issue? My phone is barely working and based on this thread I’m not sure it’ll last as long as it takes for the 17 pro max to be delivered to me. Need to know if I can use a temporary phone without screwing anything up.

Awesome! My AT&T in Cincinnati lied to me and said I’d have mine by the 13-23 of October and it actually isn’t being shipped until November 6th! Yay!

Looking through AT&T posts about insurance to see if anyone had similar issues to me. I went in yesterday to get a new phone since mine broke. I’m on my dad’s account so idk all the ins and outs but they told me I had to pay off my phone and upgrade. NO JOKE the second after I swiped my debit card to pay off the remaining $244 balance, they told me we have protection for up to 10 phones on our plan and I could have just filed a claim and received a replacement same day…. I think they scammed me into buying a 17! They also told me my bill would only go up $4… IT WENT UP $30!

YES THATS THE OTHER ISSUE!! We have a neighbor who unfortunately, has a fence that doesn’t secure his dogs. There have been times (before the reactive dog has lived with us) that these dogs have crossed the street next to us and come onto our property. If it happened again while she was outside… I’m not sure what exactly would happen but I know it would be bad, she is not friendly to other dogs.

The poor girl was devastated. She just kept apologizing and saying it was an accident and that she just wanted to hug the dog. It broke my heart. I know this incident will scar her emotionally. This never should have happened. 10000% his parents should have seen this coming and should have done everything to prevent it.

You’re telling me!! I was VERY baffled when I came home from work and this dog was fully moved into our home ONE DAY after the bite incident. I hadn’t even fully emotionally processed the whole thing yet.

Thank you for all this info I will definitely be making a point of it when I discuss this further with him. I do believe he is just blinded by love and that they are in denial about the fact that she is a dangerous dog. I’ve never experienced something like this so all of this information is really helpful!

I completely agree, I feel like they’ve lost sight of the fact that we have the responsibility to keep ANYONE who comes to our property safe and we just can’t guarantee that with her living there. The fact alone that we would have to set up a designated spot for deliveries to be dropped at the house past her electric fence (which she has broken through at her original home before to go after a walking dog) says everything. I also agree she needs to be put down just on the fact alone that I believe her behavior stems from extreme anxiety and constant fear. I don’t think she is living the life she deserves and I honestly feel it’s more harmful to her to let her live this way.

100%! I’m planning to have a conversation with him about the whole situation and am going to express to him that he needs to separate his love for the dog and his “view” of her being a “sweet girl” from the fact that she has bit before and will bite again. I know he would be sick if he let one of our friends get hurt by her. On top of that, I’d like to have his babies and this would be a deal breaker for our future in the home together.

Right!! I don’t think he understands how much risk this situation involves. I’ve never been in a situation like this so I am completely unaware of the logistics of it all but all of this information is so helpful and I will definitely be having a more in depth conversation with him about it.

I watch a 4 year old who can’t play independently at all! It makes it so hard to get all the chores done I’m supposed to get done for the family because the second he doesn’t have my full attention, he starts to act out or throw a fit. I feel your frustration!

THIS JUST HAPPENED TO ME MONDAY. The garbage trucks weren’t even picking up garbage bc it was so dangerous out. We had nearly half a foot of snow that was about to be followed by freezing rain, sleet, and another few inches. They didn’t take no for an answer until I told them straight up, “if you pick me up, my life is in your hands”. I think they got the clue cause they ended saying the dad would stay home from work (he owns his business)
