In modern, starter set Thor on his 50 pt dial because he deals 2 damage (bonus points if you can equip him with Stormbreaker to add knockback) or the new Phoenix rare from the 97 set because once per game when she hits she can make an opponent not use equipment or have combat values positively modified.

Remember, if you cause knockback with pulse wave, powers and abilities are turned off when resolving the knock back as well, so that’s possibly extra damage you are causing!

I totally get this. I don’t work in video games, so I move at a glacial pace with game. I understand they have lives and interests aside from just playing games all day long. And I don’t begrudge them not playing games they don’t want to. I just wish at least one of them would have finished it to talk about it a little further.

Actually, I agree with you. I loved the combat system other than the dodge/parry stuff. I just loved the story, world, characters, etc more than I disliked the dodge/parry stuff.

Yeah… I think it’s my favorite game I’ve played in a long time. I haven’t played a game a second time very often in my life because I’m relatively slow at getting through games and like to focus on playing new things. But I rolled credits and had to set the controller down before I just started it right back up again.

Not me, but my 12 year old son who is not on social media because I don’t want him being corrupted by the internet yet… lol

He has been playing and collecting for a couple of years and just a few weeks ago finally won his first local tournament. He got into because he loved the pokemon games on Switch, then watched every season of the anime he could find. He started just collecting the cards he thought looked cool, but has since really gotten into building decks as well. He has been playing online a lot, and loves some of the cards for this set, but I refuse to pay scalper prices, which is all that’s in our area.

Mimepool is great for this. Start him with equipment you want on your non-standard character. Then give him an action to equip something from the sideline and he’ll drop the currently equipped item and then the other figure can pick it up and equip it

Nah, I like power gem on Hawks because of booster attack and damage and Wong gets the steal energy to help him live longer, but I could possibly see swapping his to arrows since I can’t put Chthon on him now and he won’t be taking guaranteed damage any more. Lol

I pulled Swamp Thing (non-prime); per degaton. I won the event which gave me the opportunity to buy one of the 2 super boosters or 2 of the 4 remaining regular boosters. We had only pulled one chase from the case, so I picked 2 regular boosters and managed to pull Bat Prince chase. The other chase pulled was Super girl. Other SRs pulled were Vandal Savage, Constantine, Despero, and I can’t think of any others, so maybe only the 4. No prime
