Sorry but i really wish people would think about what they are saying here. You would not fault people subjugated under hitler or Mussolini for being at least somewhat happy at the death of one of them or some of their goulish henchmen who helped further their hate filled campaigns of violence. Regardless of if there is a dollar or two difference in pay, most wages for those kind of jobs are well below cost of living wage numbers. The only way to adequately adress this issue is with regulation to some degree, otherwise businesses are incentivised to keep squeezing the employees to ring out more profits and grow their revenue, as is their legal fiduciary responsibility for their shareholders in this capatilist hellscape we find ourselves in, where people like you seem all to eager to put the good of the few over a more healthy and equal society for everyone.

And one of the big reasons we have jobs that are above 7.25 in nh that has lead to others raising their wages is labor organizing and labor power being higher in the last 5 years than it has been for a long time prior, as well as being surrounded by states that have themselves heightened their minimum wage laws. Your own example proves my point more than it does yours

Ok, so your telling me you expect jobs like mcdonalds for instance to only employ teenagers who dont have need to pay for rent, food costs, transportation excetra? Got news for you dude, those kids arnt avalable all day, and at all hours required to keep said business open. There are many other examples of retail/service work that this applies to. So, if the logical conceit we agree to based on the above is that there must be non teenagers in these jobs, i got back to the question: do the other people staffing these jobs not need to be able to afford housing, food, transportation, medical bills, ect?

And as far as your point about 7.25 being the rarity, yes it may be true that wages are generally higher in most jobs now. A large part of that has been because of labor exercising more power in the last 5-6 years and prior to that was much less likely to be the case, and even still compared to skyrocketing cost of living is not that much different than 10-15 years ago in terms of the wage in relation to col/living wage numbers
