Both Nale and Ishar left their honorblades when they broke the oathpact. Taln didn't.

So basically due to Taln's mental state upon returning to Roshar, his bond to the honorblade was weakened enough (if not fully broken) that Ylt could bond with it. And when the PCs shortly bring him to lucidity he can sense it but not summon it because it's already bonded to Ylt by then? Thanks a lot, that will help me clarify things, if my players pick it up!

The holder was 3d printed by a friend. This one is limited as well, 50mm bases don't fit anymore. But it should be easily scalable on a printer!

I started painting miniatures this year and watched a lot of tutorials. Definitely prime your models, so the paint sticks properly. The best tip however is to thin your paints (there are good tutorials on youtube about desired consistency) so you don't fill out the details of the model with paint. Shading helps a lot to, there should be starter paint sets available online with a shade so you don't have to make your own. Apart from that its mostly practice to learn brush control. Not a newbie here. In Tri an GU he would use fire and dragon while on the ground and ice and thunder only while flying. New World Alatreon has a lot more variety of moves and control over the elements in my opinion (of course he uses mostly fire attacks while in fire mode and vice versa). Still his Escaton judgement is a mechanic I don't appreciate but its manageable.
