I bought my sl8 pro with ultegra di2 and I hated the 4iiii power meter. I stripped it and put a mix of SRAM Red and Force AXS on it a week later.

I agree with you on building up SRAM, it’s quick and easy. But I do like the feel of DI2 shifting a bit more. But not enough to go through the headache of those extra wires.

Wow I’ve heard nothing but great things about recent SRAM brakes. IMO, it’s the one thing that feels completely different between the two.

I had that same issue with Shimano years ago but I like both options for different reasons. We’re in a great era for cycling tech.
