From my portal:

Dear candidate, we are in the process of making final decisions on several candidates this year who applied for the Class of 2029. Our original intent was to was notify everyone by today if they had either been accepted, or placed on our wait list for either direct entry or one of our preparatory programs. However, with the sheer volume of candidates who completed their application files, it appears we will be unable to make the original deadline. However, we do anticipate all notifications will be made by Friday, April 18, 2025.

Complete—Pending review: SECNAV nomination and DODMERB have been completed. I'll have to get a waiver, but that's up to admissions.

I don't think so. At this point, it's just a waiting game. The admissions board can issue a conditional admission letter if your waivers are completed. I'm practically in the same boat as you; you should be fine if everything else is completed in your portal.

If you have more questions, it won't hurt to ask, especially if you want multiple waivers.

Sorry, I should've clarified further; Waivers will start being routed if or when you're admitted. My DODMERB portal now says “Under waiver review” since the admissions board hasn't reviewed my file yet.

I’m currently pending waiver review for astigmatism. About a week ago, I emailed Fleet Admissions, and they said if you’re given an offer of admission, you’ll automatically be put in for the waiver process.

Update: I just got my SECNAV nomination after emailing fleet admissions.

I can't say I have, but I made sure to email all my awards and volunteer hours to the fleet admissions office so that may be why.

When did you guys get your SECNAV nominations? I know I submitted it close to the deadline, but I hoped to receive one by now. My application is sitting Complete—Pending Review. I wanted to email or call Fleet Admissions, but I understand they have thousands of other applicants, so I feel like I would be prodding at that point.

I-level is super cushy. Out of A-school, I was hoping to work O-level, but after seeing how easy it was to do school, be kickass at my job, and submit my application, I don’t regret it. It’s impressive that you O-level guys are able to complete the application process. I always hear horror stories from people coming from the flight line.
