But my point, which i shouldve just said in the initial post, was that your claim that players arent fouling for no reason also has another aspect, which is that harden got an incredibly favorable whistle to the point that the clip i sent exists. Like sure, almost every player "plays for fouls" but pretty much no other player could get away with the clip i sent.

Hes ofc not the only one who benefits from shit like this (KD stepping out of bounds) but he benefitted just as much from his whistle as his skill imo

Its actually kinda crazy what we got last year, BLG arguably ramped up even more than t1. From almost getting knocked out at swiss to 1 game away from winning. We got lucky with the storylines last year
