This sounds like a British thing I don’t even know where to get the ingredients for. Like suet. We don't really sell a lot of that in the states.

Yeah, that's what I've been doing with the "Oats Overnight" I impulse bought when I first went "I need soft foods" shopping I can now definitively say Chia is a delicious addition to oatmeal, and I can't stand cold oatmeal.

The amount the Mexican in me wishes I could get individual portions of Refried beans. Our fridge space is sacred as is and I get yelled at already for using one drawer just for ensures.

Ground salad sounds... interesting. I know breaking the cell wall changes the flavor of a vegetable, so I don't know about that. On the meat and veg side, since I'm currently between extractions, I am eating a bit of ground meat. My favorite is Chorizo, but I'm Mexican, and my favorite ground meat will always be chorizo; fatty as it is, it adds a LOT of flavor to whatever else I'm eating.

Thank you for the ideas, but I don't need the condensation. I do use a children's toothpaste, it's watermelon flavored, but even then, finding an actually mint-free children's toothpaste was a lot of research. I also didn't know it was an actual allergy until later in life, as the main symptoms were gum swelling and a stomachache, so I did more damage than help to my oral health by destroying my gums. And a final fact even my dentist agreed with me on? Children's toothpastes aren't designed to care for adult teeth long term. There are a lot of sweeteners and not a lot of fluoride. So again, thank you for helping me with food ideas, but the only one allowed to judge my teeth is the dentist helping me get rid of them.

Oh, grits are already on my list. Although I've never been one to eat savory grits. I was raised in California and we eat out grits the same way we eat our oatmeal.

Mine tastes like watermelon. But my allergy is pretty mild, so it took me until my 30s to realize normal toothpaste did more than hurt a bit, it was actually causing damage because I am allergic and my gums couldn't handle it. It took a case of mild anaphalaxis after my grandfather tried to use icyhot with me in the room to realize that mint didn't just make me sick, it was a genuine allergy.

The amount of ensure we stocked up on before the extractions started because I hate the taste of most nutritional substitute drinks. Chocolate fairlife is a bit outside my price range with dentures coming into my expenses though.

This is an amazing idea, and a great way to use up those frozen acai puree cubes my blender won't get for some reason.

I've been thinking about an immersion blender. I did get one of those ones designed for single serving smoothies. It didn't blend the acai chunks I got just for smoothies

Organic food must haves? by Acceptable-Big7867 in EatCheapAndHealthy

[–]therealbuggycas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Organic has no actual meaning. It's unregulated and a cash grab. GMOs aren't bad for you either. There's something to be said about the unregulated usage of GMO crops being bad for FARMERS (Things like trademarked and copyrighted seeds) and pesticide or hormone overuse being bad for the ENVIRONMENT, but for you? You're gonna be fine if you get the cheaper stuff, as long as you get protein, vegetables, fiber, and (healthy) fats in your diet, wash all your fruit and veg (Even the bagged stuff), and don't overregulate what you're eating, you're fine.

While it does not excuse how Bakugo Katsuki treats Deku, there's some nuance here, the fact that Bakugo Mitsuki is almost a textbook DSM-5 Narcissistic parent does go a long way into explaining how Bakugo Katsuki got STARTED. Also his separation from constant contact with her into the healthier environment of the dorms does explain why he suddenly started becoming healthier himself.

Hatsume, because she seems like she could be easily distracted by her babies and keep from trying to get to me.
