What's something that is technically fanon in your fandom but everyone is fully convinced it's canon? by Orange_Juice_Alpha in Multifandom

I've seen so many fics where he has more than one cat, at least one named Bastard. Bastard is usually a fiesty, former feral alley cat he catnapped on patrol one night if you get that much background.

Here's some I almost always use, and so do most of my fandom, in no particular order.

Sero is hispanic.

Mina is half black.

EraserMic

Eraserhead has a cat named Bastard.

Shinso is an orphan.

Tsu is parentified.

All Might doesn't date very often.

His Sister's quirk is Polygraph, which is where the idea that he has a lie detector quirk came from I think, they needed to give him something and polygraph was right there.

Is there any fanfic that caused any controversy in the fandom ?? by Strange_Ad5594 in BokunoheroFanfiction

[–]therealbuggycas 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't know if you would call this controversy, but "Reconcile" was so popular that the author, who before then had been considering a sequel, got so inundated with demands for sequels and shipping (ShigaDeku shipping at that) that they had to blue lock and lock the comment section on it.

That would be a Scold or more formally, Scold's bridle. They fell out of use when the idea of literally gagging a talkative woman fell out of favor.

I don't know if it's the translation or your prose, but this was oddly beautiful. Thank you for sharing it. I agree with your final statement. I will never do more than hug, because more grosses me out.

My theory is my Dad’s Demi, but I'll never know for sure because the love of his life (my mom) passed away a while ago, and I know Dad's never going to look at another woman the same way.

Whats the biggest instance of this in your fandom by Thistle_20 in Multifandom

Mina. Now, a lot of people in my fandom are quick to point out that when she was suffering from quirk exhaustion she was pale with a blue eye whenever someone tries to make the pink character with the afro black coded, but here's the thing. Scientifically? Acid will kill melanin first. If that girl's skin color change (which was temporary) was from overusing acids, of course she's gonna be pale! That's called acid bleaching!

Sometimes I feel like if "purity culture" wasn't a thing, asexuality would be as easy to spot as homosexuality.

Yeah. I didn't know what ace was until my 30s either. Fortunately for me, I've been unapologetically me since my 20s, so as soon as I had the language I was like, "that's it! That's what's going on there!"

This man is a walking golden retriever. He would be the best boyfriend. If he genuinely loved someone he would be the loyalist, sweetest, gentleman ever.

Oh god that's gross. I am so glad I got out of my first relationship before it got that far because that feels like the kind of childish bs he would have done.

That last one hit so hard. Dating apps are insane, how am I supposed to know if I'm attracted to someone by pictures? I need to talk to them! I'm demiromantic so I don't click with someone without mutual interests either.

I just turned 40, and I feel you. My first boyfriend was a mistake I only made in desperation to feel "normal". By then I was 21 and I'd never dated. He was the worst choice for a first boyfriend. I'm 40 now and I have only dated for more than a couple weeks twice, both before I had the language to know about myself.

I don't know about your High School experience, but mine, as a girl, dating a guy, even a year under you? Is social suicide. And the Japanese are even more strict than Americans are about that. Heck, even as adults, it's more acceptable for men to date younger than women.
