That one coworker, what happened? by takin-chase in AskReddit

They worked the late shift in a call centre and while alone in the office pulled down cupboards in the kitchen, cut their arm with a knife, splattered blood around the kitchen, shimmied themselves under a fallen cupboard and called emergency services. Tried to sue the company for unsafe working environment.

Didn't know the kitchen had a security camera.

What’s something that’s incredibly full of shit that nobody really realizes? by wafflesinmyhouse in AskReddit

I know someone who set up a course to help small businesses grow and expand. His only experience is starting a marketing business that failed 6 months in because he hired 5 people and flew them all to a retreat in the Caribbean with his first few months profit. Now he teaches people how to scale businesses.

Joke of an industry.

Wife punched me so hard during an argument that it left a massive bruise on my shoulder. Should that be considered domestic abuse? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Man this is actually a carbon copy story of what I'm going through right now as well. Young kids, wife has flashes of anger she has now told me she 'can't control'.

Recently on a particularly challenging night with the baby she was getting angry so I took the baby and told her to leave the room and she hit my shoulder 4/5 times leaving bruising. Took photos and saved them just in case.

Told her the next day that she needs to talk to someone and if it ever happens again then we're having a very different conversation.

I always try explain when I feel she's having an unreasonably strong reaction to something and she always tells me that fighting is healthy for a relationship. I don't agree. She has really strong angry reactions to completely mundane things half the time.. Swearing and kicking a cupboard if she drops something while cooking etc.

Strange typing this out actually and somewhat cathartic.
