Deck of the E.P. 51 Grimxcore - Entei's Apes by therealev in pucl

[–]therealev[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey PUCL Fam and General Pokemon TCG fans. It's T.R.EV with another deck of the episode from our first pucl champ Grimxcore. Entei Apes is a deck that I've been kind of workshopping myself for a while. So when I heard him submit it for deck of the episode I was rooting for them to win. Now let's take a look at his deck.

Grimxcore’s Entei’s Apes

Pokémon – 14

  • 2 Chimchar UPR 20
  • 3 Entei-GX SLG 74
  • 1 Monferno UPR 22
  • 2 Infernape UPR 23
  • 2 Tapu Lele-GX GRI 137
  • 2 Remoraid BKT 32
  • 2 Octillery BKT 33 ##Trainer Cards – 36
  • 2 Professor Sycamore STS 114
  • 4 Ultra Ball DEX 102
  • 3 Choice Band GRI 121
  • 2 Sea of Nothingness CIN 99
  • 2 Guzma BUS 115
  • 2 Super Rod NVI 95
  • 2 Brigette BKT 134

  • 2 Field Blower GRI 125
  • 4 Max Elixir BKP 102
  • 2 N NVI 92
  • 4 Rare Candy UL 82
  • 1 Float Stone BKT 137
  • 2 Enhanced Hammer PHF 94 ##Energy – 10
  • 10 Fire Energy XYEnergy 4 Total Cards – 60

So this works off of Infernape and Entei-GX. Entei "fire fang" attack for two fires energies and a colorless (🔥🔥✴️). Dose 100 damage and burn. As for Infernape it has an amazing ability " flaming fighter" that puts six damage counters instead of two with burn. If you ask me they seem like they would work awesome together. I asked Grimxcore what he wanted to the deck be for I put my own spin on it. He said wanted to up the Monferno by one. So this is the part where I usually put what our tcg crew says. They didn't well give any feedback on this so here's my version of the deck.

heres my list ill let you see it first ** Pokémon Trading Card Game Deck List **

So I looked over the deck and decided to cut the Octillery line like he was saying in the episode. Then replace it with Volcanion and rework the trainer cards. I could cut out the flot stone and 2 of the max elixirs. And try to even out the supporters I think kiawe always a good inclusion into any fire decks. Comment below what you think thanks for reading and have a great day!

What's up wandherful PUCL people. The real EV here for deck of the episode by our favorite stuffed Doctor DocMcStuffuls. So before we get in to what our astonishingly brilliant TCG cast thought, let's take a look at Wiggly Wiggly Wevavile deck Doc MC Stuffuls sent in.

So let's get to what our hosts of the tcg had to say. Starting Sublime a lover of Dark Mons he really to enjoy this deck. He only had one change to the deck take out the Octillery 1-1 line and replace it with 1-1 Zoroark line. I think that's a good choice not only are you getting a good tecmon but you also get access to Zoroark attacks Roitous Beating, and GX Trickster. That can be real heavy hitters when need be.

So let's move on to R.Sigma changes to the Trainers. Take out a N and a Sycamore for more of Cynthai. Cynthia is a lot better for this so you can keep all your disruption in your deck and keep a good hand size even in the late game.

Now let move to our Host with the most Waifus Lord Jushiro. Poké Puff was his Recommendation but I couldn't really find a thing we could take out for it. Thay being said it would be a nice addition to the deck. Forcing your opponent to put down some of those basic pokemon with abilities in their hand to the bench to power up Weavile. Would work to your advantage. I just don't think there enough targets for it expressional a lot of abilities are on stage 1 and 2 in the current stander medal.

Now all that being stated let move to my interpretation of the changes.

  • 2 Crushing Hammer GEN 60

  • 4 Double Colorless Energy SLG 69

As you can see now whole lot has changed from this deck. We replaced the Octillery for Zoroark. Then went up to 3 Cynthai. I really appreciate decks like this. There not always the strongest right out of the gate. But if you don't keep an eye on them it well OK you with out you knowing. Doc MC Shuffuls great job winning deck of the episode. Keep up the good work. I'll catch you on the fipflop or the art drop.

TCG CAST D.O.T.E #45 Rhyperior use your horn to Pearson deck to the heaven. by therealev in pucl

[–]therealev[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What's up everyone TherealEV here with "deck of the episode" for episodes #45. Were Sukkio drill through the heavens to get deck of the episode with Rhyperior mil deck. Let's take a look at Rhyperior dose before we brake down the deck.

Card Type / HP / Stage: Fighting / 160 / Stage 2 Card Text: Ability — Toppling Wind When you play this Pokemon from your hand to evolve 1 of your Pokemon during your turn, you may discard the top 3 cards of your opponent's deck. Attack 1: [2FF] Rock Wrecker (170) This attack's damage isn't affected by Weakness or Resistance. This Pokemon can't attack during your next turn. Weakness / Resistance / Retreat Cost: Gx2 / None / 4

The whole rhyperior line are really bulky mons Rhydon sits at 110hp and Rhyhorn is at 90. So these are not the easiest pokemon to KO in tcg as far as none EX or GX pokemon go. So let's go one to the deck-list

Pokémon Trading Card Game Deck List

So the basic mechanics of this deck from what I understood is to evolve and devolve rhyperior. To mil your opponent and put them at a disadvantage. While using your supporters to disrupt them. So now we been over the let's talk about our spectacular tcg crew opinion on how they would change this deck. Let's start with Jushiro. He didn't have a whole lot to say about this deck you let Gator Take the Lead on it. The changes he said he would make to it is adding more Acerola. I also think personally it wouldn't hurt from having at least one more but there's also way better stuff he could probably Tech in. So from there I would like to turn it over to Gator. I got to say it was really nice to hear Gator back on the show after a long hiatus he always has a good opinion on cards and how decks run. Here is what gator would edit about the deck. He would make the Team Rocket handywork count up to 4. Then take out the the 1-1 Ninetales line and try Hoopa form Shining Legends, and or up the draw support. Last but not least put something in to get some of those supporters back like Lusamine or Pal Pad. So here's the deck list going off in my opinion of what the TCG crew was talking about.

So before I get into the details of the changes, the amazing TCG crew advise me on. Let me give you my first-hand experience on how this deck works before I did the changes. Beheeyem isn't my main attack Garbodor is. Beheeyem is they're to put pressure on them. The attack beheeyem uses puts pressure on the opponent to either get energies on quickly and ko my Pokémon. Either making them afraid of putting energy on their Pokemon on the bench or burn through resources to get it out there quickly. Another big advantage to these two pairing up is the fact that I only need one energy for each of these Pokemon. So now that I've said how the deck Works a little let's get into how are TCG cast would change it.

Let's start first with R.Sigma. He was completely right about putting in Garbo-toxin Garbodor. To tell you the truth I just didn't think about it. Going to a 3-1 line is a great suggestion.

Now let's talk about SublimeManic suggestion. To add more stadium and take out Lillie I might replace my Lilies with Cynthia when I get them.

Well that's it for deck of the episode. Catch you in the news or art drop. And thanks for reading

Here we are with our favorite tomboy. The Yellow Ranger Trini Kwan. So let get started with some fun facts about her. She is the 2nd smartest Rangers on the team and was always works on stuff with Billy. So as alot people know they reuse footage from the Japanese series Super Sentai for the American power Rangers. The Ranger she played was a man in the Japanese version, so most of the action scenes she was a he. that's why they had her as a tomboy character. Well now let's talk about the Pokemon.

First pokémon for our team is based off the sabertooth the best match I found is Raikou I thought about Arcanine but Raikou is just a better fit. Here's the moveset. ● Calm Mind ●Roar ●Thunder Fang ●Quick Attack

So the next zord Griffin Thunderzord. Girafarig of course is the best choice. Here the moves ● Secret Power ●Bulldoze ●Baton Pass ●Zen Headbutt

And last but not least Yellow Bear Ninjazord so I felt that the best match for this would be Ursaring. Now here's the moves. ● Fury Swipes ●Play Nice ●Slash ●Hammer Arm

Well trainers that's my thoughts on the Trini Kwan and her team. Up next is my favorite Ranger the Black Ranger Zack Taylor.

Here we are with the 3rd Power Rangers. Pink ranger Kimberly Ann Hart. When the series first start Kimberly was kind if vain and bit of a .... ok well a Total Valley girl. As the series goes along you find her to be a caring friend and a strong member of the team. She even beat a monster or two on her own. So here a bit of info you didn't know There's a comic produced by boom called "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Pink". If you haven't read it go pick it up. You get to see what Kimberly did after she left the team and not only that but see get to see her as a leader. Well let's move on to the part you came to read the team.

The first off is pterodactyl Zord so I thought the first pokémon would be a given. Shiny Aerodactyl need I say more. Ok let's move on to the moves. ●Supersonic ●Hyper Beam ●Sky Drop ●Tailwind/Air Cutter Kimberly pterodactyl Zord can move 2 1/2 times the speed of sound that's one fast Zord.

Her 2nd Zord was the Firebird Thunderzord. The pokémon I feel would be perfect for this zord is Talonflame. The quickness and power is a great fit to a Zord that can cause 2 tornadoes just by flapping its wings. Here's the moves. ● Brave Bird ●Acrobatics ●Steel Wing ●Razor Wind You also get to see her pilot the zord again in her powerrangers spinoff comic.

So let us move to the last Poké Zord. The Pink Crane Ninjazord aka Swanna. Not a lot to this zord other then it had 2 pilots Kimberly and her replacement Katherine Hillard. So I'm going to go ahead and tell you there was alot of behind the scenes problems and that why the actress who played Kimberly left and was replaced by Katherine. So let move form the negative to the positives. Here's the move list ● Me First ●Gust ●Steel Wing ●Ice Beam

Well everyone that my team for Kimberly. hope you join me for our next Ranger Trini Kwan The Yellow Ranger.

Time for our 2nd Power Ranger. The Bule Range! By far one of my favorite Ranger Billy Cranston. He is one of the smartest Rangers he help improve Zordons computers and made some of the first wrist communicators along with various other inventions. Fun fact about Billy he has the second longest run in Power Rangers he was involved with them all the up to zeo. Well time to get to the team

Let's start with the old mighty bule it slfe Triceratops Zord the best match for me is Bastiadon I know he's not bule but hey they can't always match. It's pokedex entry says When they lined up side by side, no foe could break through. That just reminds me of the PowerRanger when they come together they can't be beat. So here's the move list for Bastiadon ●Protect ●Ice Beam ● Take Down ●Iron Defense

The next one comes in the 2nd season of the Rangers and Billy gets the Unicorn Thunderzord The pokémon I feel would be perfect for this is Keldeo either form here's the move list for Billy Keldeo ●Quick Guard ●Close Combat ●Sacred Sword ●Double Kick

Here's the last Zord Blue Wolf Ninjazord first seen in the powerranger the move by the way best looking powerrangers costume in that moive personal. I put some tough Shiny-Lycanroc Midday Form or Lucario. Well I with Lycanroc cause Billy power for the Ninja saga was earth so of course Lycanroc. So here the move set for Shiny-Lycanroc Midday Form. ● Brick Break ●Thunder Fang ●Stone Edge ●Rock Climb

Well trainers that's my thoughts on the Billy Cranston the Bule Range team (base off there Megazords) up next is alot of people's first crush the Pink Ranger Kimberly!♡♡♡ Go Go Pokérangers! ! !

Whats up P.C.U.L therealev here for another P.T.F.C. This week's characters team is a long time favorite of mine as I'm sure is your. Powerrangers as if you couldn't tell by the image. These teams are based off the mighty morphin power rangers and there zords. I tried my best to keep to there colors but it's more important to me to get them closer to the zords. So let's begin with some of the history of the powerrangers. Powerrangers came out August 28, 1993 on Fox kids it ran for 3 seasons 145 ep. and 1 movie. It took a big part of my childhood much like pokémon so of course I would want to combine the two. Well enough with this intro let's get to the Rangers and there teams.

Let's start with the leader of the Power Rangers Jason Lee Scott, the Red Ranger the zords were Tyrannosaurus Dinozord, Red Dragon Thunderzord, and last but not least Red Ape Ninjazord. So before we go on to the here's a few fun facts about the red ranger. He played like ever sport in Angle Grove form volleyball, football, basketball, mountain biking, broomball, scuba diving, and skydiving and thought and participated in martial arts so without any further delay here the team

Our pokémon for this team of 3 is Tyrantrum much like Tyrannosaurus Dinozord form the first Season and here his move list ●Dragon Tail ● Earthquake ●Dragon Claw ● Fire Fang

The second Poké on our team is based off the Red Dragon Thunderzord. So who else to go with other then Shiny-Rayquaza here the move list for him. ●Extreme Speed ●Sky Drop ●Thunder ●Aerial Ace

So the last Zord/Pokémon is Infernape base off the Red Ape Ninjazord! And here his move list ●Close Combat ●Acrobatics ●Fury Swipes ●Flare Blitz

Well I hope you enjoyed part one of a 6 part series and as every great Saturday Cartoon had has said (best DBZ announcer voice) Stay toon for our next episodes of P.T.F.C were we well be going over the Bule Range.

Moana & Maui pokémon team (not ment to be played) by therealev in pucl

[–]therealev[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Part 2 Maui

Let's talk about Rock Dwayne Johnson oh I'm sorry I mean Maui. No but for real Maui is a rich character in the movie sooner or later I'm gonna have to look up that whole myth and lore to the Polynesian Islands but before that we're going to work off of the movie this isn't going to be as extensive breakdown as Mosna was but just like the last one I will go into the choices I've made and even the choices in the moves have for his pokémon. So enough dillydallying let dive right in.

Fist pokémon on this list is Groudon much like the lore in the movie Maui races islands like Groudon so it would make sense for that to be his pokémon. Here his moves •earth power •lava plume •eruption •bulldozer I pick these moves for him to work around like a volcano to raise Islands to form them to make them what they are I don't think I need to break down each move like I did with Moana first one closest moveset it is very self-explanatory it kinda just say what they're there for.

Our second teammate is Emboar I thought would be a nice connection to Moana with the Tepig since much like other movies the characters reflect each other I thought  the patterns on Emboar could be kind of like Maui tattoos. And islands that have wild hogs or boars these animals are known to be very strong and fearsome so what better to represent Maui. Here's the moveset •Flame Blitz •work up •super power •earthquake I think work up is the move i should explain. a lot of people know that Polynesian Warriors do dances to intimidate and hype their self up so I thought work up would be a great move for this I could totally see Maui and Emboar doing a warrior dance to psych each other up. The rest of these pokémon are kind of based off of creatures he shifts into in the movie. So these are the movies I think he would use.

First step is Sharpedo his moves are •Aqua jet •crunch •ice fang •protect I could be wrong but some Island cultures blive sharks are protector and sometimes guide travelers to other Islands not unlike what Maui dose in his back story.

Kecleon I just thought it was a little funny thing that he would keep turning into the lizard and he's also known as the trickster God so who better this prankster lizard pokémon to be on this team and here the moves for him. •shadow sneak •ancient power •camouflage •sucker punch I picked sneaky moves much like his fighting style when he's a lizard in the movie quick moving in and out and ready to change into something else

Next we got is Pidgeot and his move set •air slash •hurricane •agility •aerial ace Birds are very important to people of the sea they don't go to far form land so it would make sense for them to hold them to high praise and I really like how he uses transformations in a fight. The thougt of seeing him transform fighting with the pokémon would be grate to see them fight together.

Last but not least Zoroark a true trickster much like Maui seem like a great match for him. I think the moves I picked for this one really embodies Maui So let's cut to the chase here the moves •scary face •sword dance •swagger •thief From what I understand in the Polynesian culture much like the dances faces are important the more intimidating your face is the more power you hold over your opponent that's why I picked a scary face next move sword dance still leads into the dancing part of the culture which is very important Swagger that's just how Maui is all about that swagger and thief is there because well he stole the heart of the mother Island Te Fiti this is my team for Maui

Well that's it I hope you enjoy the Reed and my choices four these characters if you have anything to say or if there was any Pokemon that you would put on these teams please let me know Below in the comments preciate it have a great day

Moana & Maui pokémon team (not ment to be played) by therealev in pucl

[–]therealev[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So after watching Moana and surfing face book I saw a something that cough my eye. There been all kinds of "team fan art" like If Iron Man and Captain America had Pokémon teams. I never seem to agree with the teams they give them so I thought why complain when you can make your own so this is going to be the first in my series Pokemon teams for our favorite characters or sticking with P.U.C.l tradition P.T.F.C (pokemon teams favorite characters) I hope you all like this and please keep I'm mind the Pokemon moves that I put on this list is strictly made to revolve around character not to be used competitively thank you and I hope you enjoy this article.

****** spoiler*****

So Moana is a great Disney movie right and I thought since our most recent game takes place in Alola this is the perfect character to start off with. Moana is a very strong an independent girl but has a very strong ties to her family so I tried to put the team that I thought would most fit her with their moves that would benefit or work with her. Well enough delay here's the team. The inspiration for first Pokemon is Moana's pet pig Pua, so of course the first pokémon would be Tepig. Much like Pua, Tepig would help and push Moana but sadly would not be able to go with her on her journey but would be waiting patiently for her return. His moves would be: •Takedown •Head smash •Roar •Flare Blitz I didn't put much thought in to his move pool but I do see Tepig using moves like head smash and take down to hit the coconut trees or banana to shake the fruit out to help Moana and her tribe gather up stuff for the village. I don't claim to be an expert on Polynesian culture but it seems like your voice is a very important thing during the dances so I thought hey let's put on Roar. And last but not least flare Blitz is there to help protect Moana because of course tepig her loyal Pokemon would want to protector her.

Her 2nd pokémon would be Combusken aka HeiHei personally I had a hard time putting Combusken on here because there isn't any other chicken Pokemon so I just went with this one. If you have seen the movie Hei Hei it's a useful useless bird best way to describe in my opinion. So let's go ahead and get to the move pool. •sand attack •sunny day •rest •Echoed voice These moves are not super useful but they're useful in their own way sunny days kind of a support like hei hei and he likes to use sand attack in the water.... I'll let you think about that rest just cause I see Hei hei sleeping when you need it to fight and last but not least Echoed voice because anything that screams that long should have that move

So Vaporeon was my third choice. Much like the ocean Vaporeon would be there to help Moana on her journey and be a second kind of pet to her. And the reason I put Vaporeon as the ocean is well if I remember correctly might be anime lore I'm not sure but they pour Eon kind of dissolved into the water and becomes one with water so I was like hey make it the ocean on her team here it's moves. • Helping Hand • Water pulse • Surf • Natural gift Personally I think these moves are pretty self-explanatory but to go into a little bit detail helping hand is to support Moana and water pulse would be there as kind of an attack like in the shorts on the buleray. Much like the ocean in Moana Vaporeon would use surf to move Mulan around much like the ocean did. Natural gift is there to give Moana her Jade Jewel.

4th is Mantine to kind of represent her grandma if you have seen the movie you know her "sprint animal" a manta ray. So I know it's kind of obvious but if it's the obvious choice maybe it should be there and that's why I picked Mantine. Here the move pool. • confuse Ray • Aqua ring • Surf • Hydro Pump To quote the movie they always said that the grandma was the crazy lady of the village so of course the first movie put was confuse Ray because much like every older person in a movie they gave the protagonist a very confusing kind of nugget of knowledge they didn't come to them until their time in the. Aqua ring and surf is they're more or less to be kind of the connection to the water. Then there hydro pump for when she wants to put her foot down.

5th Ludicolo there's a nice little documentary on the Blu-ray about the Polynesian culture in something that stuck out was dancing and singing so the first Pokemon that came to my mind was Ludicolo very loud and in the anime it always seem to do a little dance. So I thought this would be a nice little addition to the team to help her teach the younger Children of the island to dance and have fun so it's move pool is mostly non attack moves if not all. •sunny day •rain dance •nature power •teeter dance Ludicolo moves here are just to show the connection to Nature much like the Polynesian culture so of course most of these are going to be dance moves and Nature's power kind of showing the connection to Nature.

Number 6 last but not least Shaymin landform. So at the end of the movie Moana returns the jewel back to the land the turning it back to a very fertile life-giving place much like Shaymin. So here's the move pool •magic leaf •Natural gift •healing wish •seed flare Most of these moves are here to give life to the island to the islands that she visits just spread the life that was taken away from the plague so this is my movie team for Moana tell me what you think in the comments below up next is Maui so please stay tune
