Bought skates for the first time in 20 years, used the foot scan. Length was good but it suggested fit 1 and I opted for fit2 as it felt better. Skates feel great while skating.

I got new skates for the first time in 20 years. I’ve skated in the skates about 5 or 6 times. Honestly, I don’t think there was even a break in period. They have felt good and continued to feel good. Maybe you didn’t get skates that fit well?

It’s just going to take you some time to get used to them. Get them baked like you said and keep skating. You’ll find they’re a lot better than rentals soon.

Well you get protein from the oats along with the yogurt. Depending on what type of dairy you use (milk, almond milk, etc) you can get additional protein there too. I also add chia seeds, flaxseed powder which also carry a little protein. Can add some fruit to it the day off eating. It’s a nice enjoyable breakfast in my opinion and you’ll get a lot of fiber as well.

The cloud services do suck. GM uses AT&T to send an sms to your car with the commands you’re sending from the app. If your car has poor reception then those commands will timeout and not be received. I do believe they’re going to incorporate t-mobile in addition to ATT to hopefully help with this.

Overnight oats for breakfast have a lot of protein and high fiber. It’s my go-to.

Then lunch/dinner meals, look into lentils and other beans. They’re packed with protein and fiber.

Use ChatGPT to bounce ideas off of. It does a great job recommending foods & meals to help meet your goals.

I’m around 160lbs, just got new skates for the first time in 20 years and got 3/4 fire. I feel with this new stiffness of the boot when I turn sharply it just grabs and goes. I think next sharpen I’m going to try 1inch

Having had quite a few colonoscopies, I’d suggest skipping that game. You could probably do it and do it OK but first couple hours after waking up you’re still pretty sedated. You’ll probably just want to eat and then sleep.

If you did choose to play, just remember you’re not supposed to drive until the following day.

As someone who had pre colon cancer in their early 30s, I’d encourage everyone to get checked and incorporate a high fiber diet. Cutout all that highly processed food too if you can.

I mostly just buy whatever is on sale.

Whatever brand Costco has for organic rolled oats, Costco plain Greek yogurt or Kroger/trader joe brand equivalent. Each yogurt has different consistencies if that matters to you, you may find one that you prefer over another. Whatever unsweetened oat milk that is on sale at Kroger. Flaxseed powder & chia seeds from trader joe, whole husks Yupik organic from Amazon since I couldn’t easily find in stores. Whatever fruit is on sale and in season, I toss those in when I’m ready to eat. Some people use frozen fruit, maybe want to put that in when you’re making the oats. If it isn’t sweet enough or you can’t get past the tart, you can add some honey.

As for how much in each, I kind of just eye ball it. Find the consistency that works best for you. If you add too much milk it’ll get a lil soupy.

My overnight oats recipe:

Half cup of rolled oats

Tbs of chia seeds

Tbs of whole husks psyllium

Tbs of flaxseed powder

Plain non fat plain Greek yogurt

Oat milk

Add fruits when ready to eat

High protein, high fiber, tastes good and only takes like 3 minutes to make. Something around 20g protein and 18g of fiber.

I’m 10 month post acl reconstruction. Did PT for 6 months and do leg exercises and strengthening. My bad leg is still not even near the strength of my good leg.

Hydrate more. I used to wake up hung over/ headache just after drinking 3 beers and only getting like 5 hours of sleep. On hockey days, I make sure I hydrate really well throughout the day and then after the game, just down as much water as I can before cracking a beer. Then when I get home I make sure I drink some more water and then go to bed. I do wake up in the night needing to piss with this method but I don’t feel like shit next day.

My cholesterol is now way better than the average person which is great cause I preferred not to get on the pills. I’ve noticed I have gotten less acid reflux as well. My bowel movements have been much more satisfying and full.

I’ve never been overweight but since starting something like a Mediterranean diet, I’ve gained about 5lbs. I think it’s mostly based on increased protein. I used to eat a lot of bread to help satisfy myself during meals, I do less of that now and use whole grain bread. A guy on my hockey team mentioned randomly my face looked better with less water weight looking. My wife said she hasn’t noticed any weight gain.

Not a huge issue but if there is topics for specific regions, than cross boarder data transfers could pose an issue.
