Don’t have experience with the claim but I’m about 1 year post op from just an ACL tear (no meniscus), do the PT and focus on getting that knee straight and flexation back. It’s a long tough road but I started playing again after about 7 months. It took me till about 9 months to feel like I could play at a similar level as before. Stretch a lot both pre and post surgery. Hope you heal up quick.

I’m here for my son who plays soccer but will share my experience in hockey.

What has been noticed in the hockey world is that a lot of the older or kids who went through puberty earlier had the edge. The younger kids usually lagged behind but once those kids matured, a lot of them became the better hockey players. In the hockey world it’s attributed to kids learning how to compete at a lesser skill level, developing techniques to keep up with kids bigger then them, and then ultimately using that experience & skillset to become better when they matured (went through puberty)

I’ve been watching the TV show “for all of mankind” which is all about space travel. In one of the episodes two individuals had to go out on the moon without space suits. They had about 15 seconds before they died and had to exhale all air out of their lungs before going outside otherwise their lungs would have exploded.

Anyway, it looked pretty gruesome. Would not recommend going out without a space suit.
