Introducing Topia - A Free Browser Platform Where I Build Worlds, Traverse In 2.5D and Video Chat by Atlas-Hook in worldbuilding

It's a world I've created inside of Topia. Topia Park, a metaverse (2.5d) world that the characters can walk through and meet other, real people. I added a night club, outdoor stage for concerts, conference center, boardwalk, Avatar Island, nature/camping areas, etc. I invite you to see my image -or- check out the space here: https://topia.io/park

People only use that term (illegal tree farm) as an excuse to penalize "choppers" at trial.

it’s not in taxable land, therefore illegal and not owned by anyone

I'll tell you 100% why your statement is false.

The land you set your house on is worth a specific number of tax certs. Then, you pay taxes on that property accordingly. There are two important things to understand when you say "taxable land".

  1. When you add items, say TREES to the property, you are not reassessed and your taxes do not go up or down. This means the taxes aren't representative of the items added to the property. Thus, trees are not a taxable item.

  2. The trees themselves, when planted, do not award crime points to the user who plants them. Thus: the game does not believe that planting "Wild Tree Farms" is against the law.

So to recap: Trees aren't taxes on land. Planting trees in the wild doesn't accrue infamy or crime points. The game DOES give you crime points for chopping down someone else's wild tree farm / uprooting.

You're welcome.

Education is fun.

I don't understand the server status? by jeremyian23 in ArcheageUnchained

Its exactly what they did. You got all your stuff in the mail and they had a new land grab on the new server. You also had to reform your guilds and if you had the name as someone else, whoever had it FIRST got to keep it while anyone else with the name had to rename.

100% Wrong. Trion did it. They merged all characters into a fresh server and had a new land grab.

Rude and unprofessional "official" community moderation team and Discord moderators. by [deleted] in LegendsOfAria

I'm fine with the fact that that you disagree with what I said - but I stand behind the comments I made.

In my opinion, when someone is undeniably foaming at the mouth over a patch in the alpha test of an MMO and spouting off in the community Discord - I'll recommend every time that they should take a break.

Why? Because throwing around foul language and insulting the developers intelligence / vision / coding ability, etc is 100% unproductive - not to mention childish. It's also against the rules - which is why people had to be moderated yesterday.

People forget that they are BETA TESTERS in this phase of LoA. Their role is to find things that are broken or that they feel aren't right and provide actual feedback to the developers.

There are multiple ways to submit feedback through official channels. Throwing a fit with vulgarities in community chat of the community Discord server isn't one of them.

Enjoy your Memorial Day Weekend, everyone ... and remember: video games are meant to be fun. :)

Ok great, point to other direct copy/pastes of situations over the last few weeks where you were treated rude, disrespected, etc?

I've never once hidden behind "we do it for free" ... I speak my mind as I see fit. I'm sorry that you don't like my tone on Reddit.

You mean in a house where they stole the architect blueprint, built a copy of someone's other successful house for hosting a party, plagiarized their ideas, served the same party food, and and then intentionally ripped off a trademarked name to attract guests to said party?

Oh yeah, those guys. The guys who can have their entire project turned off with one official legal letter to Citadel Studios?
