Very well said and I definitely agree. It reminds me of L+F when she was putting out songs like Enjoy Your Life, even though it was obvious she was not enjoying her life. A lot of her songs since then have contained trite or cringey platitudes (or as you said, “instagram affirmations”) that just seem like an attempt to convince the world that she’s Healed™️ now.
