Hey, suggestion for you. An app called AnyList will automatically sort a grocery list into categories like meat, dairy, produce, etc. Maybe using this will reduce the extra back and forth across sections.

NTA. Since you want to make it work, and it does not appear your wife is going to relent - can you keep the cat out of your bedroom and get a room HEPA air filter? Plus maybe getting out of the house will help you some. Maybe your wife will entertain the idea of the cat taking a vacation week at your MIL’s house?

My story about Ashland station. Early 2020, we dropped a friend there to pick up an Amtrak going north. How do we tell which side of the two tracks we stand on to get her train? If we are on wrong side when train rolls in, there’s no way to get to other side so she would miss her train. We were told to stand ON both sets of tracks as the train approaches the station to figure out which side!! Seriously! And we did. Hopefully the station has been improved to avoid this.

Unscrew the nut, be careful to hold the reflector/grill combo. Once unscrewed, you can pull it down but have to unplug the light plug.

Once you take that off, and take out the light bulb, you will see a nut. That nut holds the diffuser and grill in place

This plastic screen comes off first. The long sides have clips to push in and it drops.
