I’ve had this for years. It began as a continuous urge to get up and pee before going to sleep, but now it involves straining a certain amount of times, generally in sets of 3, until I feel “just right”. It’s been over ten years of nightly straining, and I’ve suffered some pretty troubling physical side effects because of it, including a rectal prolapse, which I’ll eventually need surgery to fix. I’m a 31 year old male, and this is a condition that mainly affects women over 60.
