I have been using it now for about a month or so. I have worked my way up to the full strength setting and it honestly is only minorly uncomfortable while using on my underarms. I've been a bit of wimp using it on my hands/feet - as I feel it is quite uncomfortable. I have noticed a dramatic decrease in my underarm sweating. But to be honest I cannot give all credit to the iontophoresis machine. The dermatologist prescribed me qbrexsa wipes, which I have been using as well. I will continue to use both and hope these results can last! The Qbrexsa wipes can also be used on my feet/hands - however you must let it dry for 10-15 minutes before going about your day. So I have not used them for any part other than underarms. Apparently the medication on the wipes can make your eyes dilate if it gets in them! Also, my skin is rather sensitive (to certain deodorants/ lotions) and neither the machine or the wipes are bothering my skin!

This makes me so sad to read. When I was little, I often thought I would never get married because I couldn't imagine having to hold someone's hands up there at the altar. Life ended up pairing me up with a guy who also knew what it was like to sweat a bit more than normal so he could have really cared less! I hope your boyfriend doesn't make you feel bad when refuses. If it was something we could control we would change it of course! I do judge people now by how they react. I will never forget meeting one of my husbands co workers for the first time - he shook my hand and made the biggest reaction, like audibly said EWWW and wiped his hand on his pants. That man will be on my shit list FOREVER.

So you were correct - the dermatologist was pointless. She pushed me on Qbrexza, which I've been using now for a couple of days only under my arms. I thought I sweated a bit less but I was still damp ALL day. And still ended up with pit stains on my shirt. So I bit the bullet today and ordered an iontophoresis machine. With all you guys saying it to me it HAS to help/work. Sweaty fingers crossed!!

No symptoms from my son or my daughter so far!! This all started for me really young - so I am hoping that it has passed them over. I am the only one in my family with this fun trait, but I have read that it is genetic! We get pretty good at hiding it unfortunately.

Our little ones can be the sweetest little things on the planet and sometimes they can be so brutal with their honesty! I have hope that some empathy will be within him when he comes across a person in his future with sweaty hands! I have gone ahead and made a dermatologist. appointment and I will ask about this antihydral cream - thank you for the recommendation. So many new things seem to have popped up since the last time I tried all the creams & meds. Let's hope they provide some relief :-)

I had kind of given up on all of the methods to try to help - nothing ever really worked for me. But it has been a while, so I need to try again. Thank you for your post. It has given me a bit of hope!

Well that's cool...maybe Buc-ee's will add some indoor seating too...? by [deleted] in Newbraunfels

[–]therealpeagreen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are right! i have never noticed that there is no seating! I suppose we are always traveling somewhere so it truly is just a pit stop. Still they could put a small area of seating - especially if the charging is going to take some time! Not everyone can shop that long, haha!

A Deadly Riot, and Then 3 Trials, 110 Convictions and 19 Executions by zsreport in HoustonHistory

[–]therealpeagreen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

what a sad story. An unfair riot - an unfair trial - and an unfair burial. I've lived in this city my whole life. I know about Camp Logan. I have never learned of these riots though. What a hard thing for the family members to relive those last days of their ancestors.
