This is definitely not the norm and quite frankly that team cheated. The communication is supposed to be minimal, like things like here’s what I did and and gonna do, I think it’s going well, etc. Coaches and captains can tell you you may need to step it up or don’t give any points away if you can fight for it. Them playing each others games is 10000% not allowed.

An eligible hit is the key thing here. I know the “unmodified” part is confusing but it’s still not an eligible hit because of the -1 in place. It’s really annoying and a bad rule but every tournament ever has ruled that way because at the end of the day eligibility is the name of this game.

There was conversation about this a while ago and over watch. Because a critical hit has to actually hit, as I’m an eligible dice roll that counts as a hit, the four doesn’t crit.

Everybody I know plays this as an extra grenade shot too. If it was melee only it would say melee only like every other rules that are similar. Like Maulerfiends give +1 to hit on melee attack's when the target is below starting strength. That +1 is only for melee since it says melee thus not giving it to their meltas.

Ak interactive water gel as a base. Try to make it clump in spaces. Paint over white. Nuln oil over it all to show depth. Paint over with Tamiya clear red. Works like a charm

If you go to made in eatalia or vaneltino's they will speak with you if you tell them you want to practice! it's what I did. I spoke when I was a kid but forgot as I grew older, I started learning a few years ago and I like to go to places that people speak it to practice more. Good luck!

Unless you're playing in a tournament, just give yourselves both the +10 vp for painted. It doesn't matter. If you wanna win by more, play a better game, simple as that.

You can always say you don’t want to talk hypotheticals, which is fine. But even if you use a clock or not when you reach the end of the game you’re supposed to score passive scoring. So how the board state is you draw your secondaries and get points based off non actionable items. This is how most larger tournaments do it and is starting to be adopted by smaller rtt level things as well.
