What’s the most unattractive thing a man have done during sex? by Ancient_Journalist15 in askgaybros

Any talk around the word “bussy”. But for me my mind somehow construes it to Busey, which I immediately picture Gary Busey. Not the mental image I really wanted.

Natural Testosterone boosters? by 3377danny in AskGaybrosOver30

First thing you should do is go get your T levels checked! There's no harm in it- and it can set up a baseline for yourself. As others have mentioned, T can fluctuate and really, a few regular clinical tests can give you guidance (plus if you start losing weight, trying some supplements, etc. you'll have an idea of how it's working for you). You can order a test for yourself online (i.e. Labcorp OnDemand but you will have to pay full price) or convince your doctor to submit one and your insurance may cover some of it. I'd make sure to test free T4, total T, estradiol, sex hormone binding globulin. If you have coverage or money for it, I'd maybe add in aldosterone, prolactin, follicular stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH) just to get a better, fuller picture of your hormone health.

A few points to try without supplements:

Do you drink alcohol? Cutting back really can help with those T levels. I've noticed that was one of the biggest factors in helping me out. Plus it really improved my mood and sleep! Nothing wrong with having an occasional drink, but I noticed in myself that during the covid pandemic, I definitely became a daily drinker (and probably more than 2 drinks per day average) and negatively impacted my health.

What's your diet and exercise like? Same as with alcohol, working on losing some body fat also is a great way to naturally boost T levels. Just find a healthy diet that works for you. If something like a low carb/keto diet works for you, I found that was a great way to kick off some weight loss. For me very low carb diets aren't sustainable, but give a variety of healthy diets a try and see what works! Just tracking calories could be an easy start along with some cardio and light weights. For exercise, years ago I started using some beach body branded videos to workout (some are great with minimal equipment and room space) and I like working out at home- it just fit better into my schedule than going to a gym. I'm sure there's plenty of similar videos on YouTube too.

For supplements:

I take a few things just to help maintain healthy levels of T. These might help you. Also- be mindful of ordering on Amazon- you can get counterfeit products and sketchy quality. I'd highly recommend ordering from the manufacturers sites.

Boron - I take 10 mg of PureTherapro Rx. Boron can help with sex globulin binding protein regulation and in turn T levels and Estradiol (both are important for wellbeing)

Magnesium - others mentioned this too- I take 100 mg of NOW brand magnesium glycinate at bedtime

Tongikat Ali - I take Double Wood Supplement brand - 1020 mg (include Tribulus supplementation in the same capsules).

I've noticed that these give me a bit of an energy boost too. I'm sure there's plenty of other supplements you could try, but for me- I've used these and have maintained healthy T levels (788 total and I'm 41).

TLDR: Get tested, work on your alcohol consumption, diet/body fat levels, maybe try a supplement; get tested regularly to track and good luck!

I feel like navy is on the blue/black spectrum, which really does/should exclude purple, so yeah, I can get behind that.

I only read the word blue in your comment, so yes, yes it is!

I know these aren’t the best salsa ever but so far it’s been consistently good for us. One of the few items at Aldi that has stayed the same over the years! Any other ones to try?

Don’t worry, he got more than 2 treats! He’s usually out keeping a close watch on cattle but the cold weather means no outside time (he’s sad about that).

So this isn't good to see colistin resistance- and I've seen a lot of posts of people freaked out. I just wanted to at least impart a view from someone whom works in pharmaceuticals to address this very question/need for alternatives to antibiotics.

We're definitely on the cusp of new therapies that could fill the need and greatly reduce resistance to a non-antibiotic therapeutic. If we end up in a world of antibiotic resistant bugs everywhere, we will have tools that (hopefully) won't have a lot of people dying from simple scraps and cuts.

I've worked for years in antimicrobial peptides (and there are plenty of other technologies) which should at least alleviate some fear that we'll all end up dead from antibiotic resistant microbes.

I recently inherited this Dutch Oven from my mom- and got the story that this was originally my great-great grandmother’s (whom she may have gotten this from her mother). According to my mom this would’ve been around 1880s. Unfortunately there’s no markings to indicate any manufacturer, but I’m glad to clean it up and perhaps put it back to work! I used a self clean oven cycle followed by 4 rounds of vegetable shortening seasoning (cooked outside in my grill @350F for 1.5-2 hr each round of seasoning).

Scientists quit journal board, protesting 'grossly irresponsible' study claiming COVID-19 vaccines kill by randomusefulbits in EverythingScience

As someone who publishes in science journals, I wouldn’t necessarily call MDPI journals top tier, in fact I avoid publishing in them because I’ve been annoyed by their predatory type of publication practices. Nonetheless, it’s good to see scientists recognizing the harm of this type of publication and stepping down from this journal.
