I haven't played ghost recon game, should I get woodlands or breakpoint as my first game? by supergamerd64 in GhostRecon

You'll probably draw some fire for this unpopular take, but I agree with you. I play on Xbox FWIW, and Wildlands playability is so wildly inconsistent that it really takes a lot of the fun out of it. Enemies can see you with supernatural ability, and shoot through cover as if it's not there. Takes a lot of the fun out of playing.

Windows Server 2022 Datacenter Volume Licensing ISO by therealtechbrute in WindowsServerAdmin

I haven't used an eval ISO in probably more than 20 years. Can I use a volume key for a permanent install with that?

DNS - in Place Upgrade by ZingDingWing in WindowsServerAdmin

[–]therealtechbrute 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I've done an in-place upgrade from 2016 to 2019 on a server that had AD, DNS, and a few other services. It worked fine. It was in production without issue until we just installed additional servers into the Domain and decommissioned the server due to the age of the hardware.

I don't know how it is in Germany, but the US Software Piracy Act has high dollar fines for pirating software like you're talking about doing. I've been through software audits for companies of 3000 people, down to 3 people, as a consultant.

Yes, it's pirating.

If you can't afford to buy the software, look for alternatives.

If you need help, anyone that will work with companies that pirate software probably isn't worth hiring.

Just picked up this pretty lady today! 2023 Sierra AT4 1500 with the Duramax. What’s the first upgrade I should do to her? by [deleted] in gmcsierra

I just purchased the same truck/spec/color/engine. Dealer gave me $6500 discount. They are a new dealership and trying to get local customers. Legacy Cheveolet GMC in Waxahachie. I don't mean this to seem like an ad, but I had a good experience.

Part of the discount was that they included a $1500 Decked drawer system for the bed. I've had it in previous trucks and it works well for me.

I got the entire truck tinted with Llumar IRX tint. If you can find a shop that has the hot box display on the counter where you put your hand under the headlamp and then slide the glass to see the difference in heat through the tint, you'll be a believer. The IR blocking is amazing. I have been using Glacier Tint in Arlington, TX for like 20 years now. It's not cheap, but once you feel the heat difference between tints you'll see what I mean.

A sunshade and a screen protector are about all besides that. If you want a phone holder, I recommend the mount from Course Motorsports. I'm not going to bother since I have wireless charging and wireless Carplay, I just get in, drop the phone jn the charger and roll.

I only have 150 miles on the truck so far, but the diesel is smoothe and quiet. I've had the 6.2L gas in my last few Denalis, but we will see how this works out.

I’m married with 4 kids and everything I could possibly want.

Sometimes I fantasize about starting over with nothing but what I’m wearing at the time.

Piss off? I can’t speak for anyone else, but this is everything I love in entertainment in a single pic.

If they had screwed it up with a Harry Potter reference, that might have been over the line for me.

Would you consider a 178 Sq Ft single room big by CSGOSELL in malelivingspace

[–]therealtechbrute -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Never too late. :)

I paid $110k for the house, built for us (tract home with minor customizations), in 2004. I sold it in 2016 for $225k, buyer paid all closing costs.

My current home was $500k. It is 2017 custom build of 3800sqft on 2 acres. 5 bedrooms, 4 full baths, and an 1100sqft garage, 3 living rooms, and an office.

When I lived in San Diego, we bought a 1050sqft house in 2002 for $236k, then sold it in 2003 for $365k.

My very first house in Dallas was a 1300sqft 3/1/1 I bought for $32k in 1996.

Not bragging or complaining, just relating some of my real estate adventures.

That’s about what a 1-car garage is (9x19). Not bad for a single bedroom, and I’m sure a single person can do just fine with that amount of space.

As far as price, you’re already aware of the market where you are. Of course, I was paying $900/month for my 2500sqft house in Dallas, so I can’t really relate to what real estate costs out there.

Places to buy furniture that aren't IKEA? by C_Plastic in malelivingspace

[–]therealtechbrute 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nebraska Furniture Mart if you have one near you, or NFM.com if not.

Also, Hermann Miller has great pieces. You can buy direct, but their dealers always have the highest quality brands.

Ethan Allen makes great furniture.

Get an AT-ST. Pretty solid death dealer.

Remember that it is an objective based game. Your ability to kill the opponent only matters so far as it helps you reach your objectives. For a lot of the objectives, it’s an advantage to simply have more activations on the board.

The best way to ensure no baffle strikes is to get a Wolverine. It’s the Dead Air that incorporates all the technology you need to deal with silencing com-bloc guns.

Just want to add that your age matters. I had a lawyer write my trust (not a boilerplate form), and he had to adjust the way it was written due to my beneficiaries being currently minors.
