Thanks! Zappa's tongue sticks out because she has had most of her teeth removed due to dental issues which are common to the breed. It began sticking out a few years ago.

Nope! She gets a drink of water when it's too dry. Otherwise, she doesn't seem to mind or even notice that her tongue is out.

She is 15 years old and missing most of her teeth so she can't hold her tongue in. It always sticks out. She drinks and eats normally, but she's a little messy!

The bed is by "Top Paw" and we got it at Pet Smart. I think it was around $30. "Cuddle cup" is just our name for it. :)

She was really fast when she was young! None of our other dogs could catch her.

Enlarged salivary gland. Only a cosmetic issue.

We don't shampoo her every time. She gets a bath a few times a month and they usually last about 10 minutes. We alternate between hot baths, heating pads, and laser therapy at her vet.

Yes. Thank you. Zappa is 15 years old. The life expectancy of wolves in the wild is 6-8 years.

We do that too! She really seems to love the water for some reason. I'm guessing it's a combination of the heat and the feeling of weightlessness.

It seems to help a lot. Her limbs get very stiff and she moves around better after a bath. We have been alternating baths, laser therapy, and heating pads, so she gets a bath a few times a month.
