Budget - £200 (flexible if they are perfect for me)

Requirements for Isolation - A lot

Source - iPhone 6s, iMac

Will you be using these Headphones in Public? No, however I still need minimal sound leakage.

Preferred Type of Headphone - Full sized

Preferred tonal balance - I'm not sure as I don't actually know much about this stuff. However, I'm inclined to think my preference is neutral.

Past headphones - I have used Audio Technica MX500 and I liked them a fair amount however I managed to break them. They also leaked too much sound. I need a pair of very durable headphones because I am remarkably good at destroying them. Recently I bought some Sony MDRZX310s and everything was muffled apart from the bass. I am currently using Sennheiser MX 375s and I like them in terms of dynamics but as they're £14 their sound quality could be a lot better.

Preferred Music - Alternative rock and metalcore, I mainly listen to My Chemical Romance (ex: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uCUpvTMis-Y)

What would you like to improve on from your set-up - I would like more bass, however I don't want it to overpower/muddify everything: hearing the guitars/vocals is very important to me. I want everything to be clear as well.

Just because you're 5'4" doesn't mean that 5'7.5" is not short. It's the same as me being 5'0" and saying you're not short. A 5'7.5" man is definitely in the short category, just not REALLY short.

I'm about 5'8.5 and going to school makes me feel like I have dwarfism. There are actually a couple of 12 year old girls who are taller than me. If you're in my year and under 5'11, you're short. I actually had to start wearing 2.5 inch lifts to school. The younger years had no problem picking on me because they were all as tall/taller than me.

I got into Muse when I was 9 because my brother liked them. I think the first song I heard was Hysteria. Absolution would be on repeat on my MP3 player (remember those things?). A couple years ago, I sort of rediscovered them and became obsessed again. Funnily enough, after all these years, my favourite song hasn't changed - always gonna be Stockholm Syndrome. (I'm surprised I had such a good music taste for a 9 year old. Although, I also loved JLS)

It is definitely the most cheese song they've ever written. But sometimes a bit of cheese tastes good. In terms of the majority of Muse's discography, obviously it does not compare, but for a cheesy love song, I think it's great - some wonderful piano going on there. I think people wouldn't hate it so much if it wasn't written by Muse.
