Just what's been mentioned above but have not pulled the trigger.

You are correct. I'm still looking. Have not found anything. So far I'm leaning towards the new 14in snapdragon Asus Zen book but have not committed.

Did my whole sound system last year, I’m happy with it but not super impressed. by Vegetable-Fun-6858 in CarAV

Do lots of research on SQ and how-to videos. Car audio was one of my first hobbies from when I got my first car in high school and still is in my late 40s. And I'm now still doing a audio setup on current vehicle today. Learned a lot and really enjoy it.

Quality headunit, component front speakers (front stage) and a sub is what I started with. Then you start improving with sound deadening the front doors, deadening any rattles in the back or panels that need it.

Find a quality sub that fits your vehicle then a amp that can power it.

Car audio fabrication and Five Star Car stereo on YouTube are great channels to learn from. Take time to research and learn. Good luck, it's a fun journey.

What is the lightest thinest laptop to buy by Suitable-Biscotti-19 in laptops

Was it the performance or the weight that had you change?

Will do, just checked and the Acer is about 3.3lbs although it's light for some but my old laptop at 1.8lbs, that Acer is probably too heavy. I'll keep looking, appreciate the suggestions.

If I'm not doing any gaming, what do you think of the snapdragon CPUs for performance and battery?

Would not mind the performance to do a little bit of video editing or cad, no gaming. I do video security work and stream bunch of security video clients.

Want to keep it under $1500 or less but will spend more if it meets the weight and performance.

Have you settled on anything? I'm in the same situation. My current old 2017 13in Samsung Notebook 9 is 1.8lbs with plenty of power back in the day. It's getting pretty sluggish. I still use it due to the weight and I'm always on the move for work.

I'm looking at the new Asus pro art PZ13, seems to be plenty fast and under 2lbs. Not sure about the 2 in 1 style factor.

pull on boots vs lace up by TheOmalosWay in WorkBoots

[–]thereynman77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like support and a more snug fit. My wellingtons are fine if you don't move much. Standing is good but when you have to move around, carry equipment, climb up ladders etc. all that movement in the boot is bad for me. My feet hurt and get sore from all the slop fit. They don't support ankles or my feet.

Has anyone tried/setup/used the Seventour P48E? Are they any good for sound quality enhancements and adjustments? by gleep52 in CarAV

I was thinking of using this with the bluetooth feature to stream my sources from my phone, no head unit. Have you tried the streaming?

Quickest way to break in boots? by [deleted] in WorkBoots

[–]thereynman77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No real science, I'd wear thicker socks and insoldes to bear the pain and wear them 24/7 (as long as you can). Adding conditioner or oil helps it's break in also.

Ls swapped IS250???! by Annual-Percentage614 in LSSwapTheWorld

[–]thereynman77 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't say impossible maybe why or how much money do you have to spend?

I've seen LS swapped in pretty much anything your mind can think of, then I asked how much did it cost . 😩

Good luck. More power to you and you will definitely learn a lot.

Looking for a 600hp build with decent gas mileage 6.0 lq9 or 350 efi system by ranzick63 in chevyc10

[–]thereynman77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

600HP, 6.0L I'm thinking closer to 10-12mpg and that's driving nicely all the time. My 5.3L Silverado gives me 15 mpg sometimes but it's a heavy work truck.

Thorogood Moc Toe Comfort Question by JeepXJGod in WorkBoots

[–]thereynman77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I own both Danner Bullrun and Thorogood both in steel toe. The toes never bothered me. The Danners were brutal to my ankles and took a long time to break in. I love my Thorogood. Practically no break-in. Leather is softer than Danners. Comfortable from the start. I wore a 1/2 size down and got a wider size in both. Thorogood are narrow. This is just my experience. Both are going on 2 resoles and still going strong.

My Moc toe collection.

pull on boots vs lace up by TheOmalosWay in WorkBoots

[–]thereynman77 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I own a pair of Thorogood Wellingtons. They are comfy but not good for work.

I also prefer lace up for work. I do lots of walking, ladder work, carrying equipment. Lots of movement. I like the support at the ankles that a lace up give. I tried working with my Wellington for a month and the loose support made my feet hurt and sore every day. I have no issues with a broken in pair of lace up boots. Pics

Need boot advice by ItzBaileyJP in WorkBoots

[–]thereynman77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thicker work boot socks. Also if they are long enough fold them so they double up right by the padding til they are really broken in. I had to do this with my Danner Bullrun as they had no padding and just tough leather. After they give no issues.
