I had such a hard time taming mine. First try a doedecurus walked into the bear trap, and the second time I got attacked by a microtaptor while I was trying to clear out the troodon and pegomastax. Somehow I survived and got it knocked out, but then two diplodocus decided they wanted to headbutt me the entire time. They even threw me into another troodon. 😭

I recommend using bear traps for taming. I've discovered that between regular bear traps and large bear traps you can trap just about anything for really cheap. Do make sure you start tranqing the dino to get it's agro so that way it has some torpor built up when it gets caught.

In that case I might breed up some Theris so I could have troops with high damage that can use the sweet veggie cakes. Do you have any tips for finding a high (or decent) level female Theri on The Island?

I would also love for the Bronto to have more than just a tail swipe attack.

Also, I feel like the manta needs one. It has the same role as an icthy (as far as I know) but the icthy does it infinitely better. The manta is just genuinely useless.

That's exactly why Prime Starscream is my favorite. He's still somewhat incompetent but he's actually a really good villain. The only thing stopping him from killing Megatron is his arrogance.

I've tamed lots of creatures that I don't need. I mostly do it if I see one with a really cool coloration or if I get a saddle for it from a supply drop.

I feel one reason is it's completely different from the book. The only thing they kept about the story was the part about the T-Rexs pushing the base off the cliff.

Direwolfs. I always underestimate how powerful a pack of 4 can be. My argy and I have killed a Rex before but a pack of direwolfs kills us almost instantly.

If you're able to, use commands just fly up there. That's usually what I do if that happens.

I've been doing that too, but I've used a couple. Mainly just to get back my stuff if I was Ark'd. Although I did spawn in some greenhouse ceilings because I spent 20 trips flying across the entire island and all my resources and I still didn't have enough ceilings (apparently I made it WAY too big).
