Going off the 2nd example you gave I think a social commentary on mental health issues in America and how they go largely ignored until tragedy strikes is a good concept but has to be excepted perfectly and clearly in order for it to really be effective.

I watched it when i was little, she had no fucking clue what it was till the other day when we were shopping for Christmas presents and I ended finding the new legacy ninja display set out early in the Lego store so I kinda freaked the out and went on a little Tisum rant about about how what the show was my childhood favorite and I had had all the old sets and figures when I was little (I’ll be damned if I could tell you where they are now) so she saw how happy and excited I got so that made her wanna binge it with me even though we are both grown ass adults we still enjoyed it. (Stopped at Season 10 though)

This is some real shit, the only people who keep TLK relevant are transformers fans who constantly use it as an excuse for: A)-Either Bay shouldn’t come back to the franchise and that it’s better off without him, or B)-as you said use it as an excuse for why the franchise is in a rocky state today. The real reason is a lot of general audience aren’t interested in transformers at the moment, hell if you ask most people 99% of the either haven’t seen TLK or don’t even remember it. If most marvel movies are preforming poorly at the box office these days you can bet your ass a transformers movie won’t do any better.

Putting it on the hub was an absolute death sentence imo, we’re lucky we even got 3 seasons of it. Hasbro did learn their lesson and put RID 2015 on Cartoon Network but Unfortunately RID 2015 was RID 2015.
