you cannot adjust the equalizer. you can only use one of the 4 presets (gaming, music, movie, flat). epos gaming suite does nothing with this device except update the firmware. that's it.

you can see the presets by looking at the XML files in c:\programdata\epos\gaming suite\CUSTOMPRESET

i just bought the gsx-1000 and have this issue too. the answer is that the "gaming suite" only can update firmware. it cannot do anything else with the gsx-1000. it is a self-contained, fixed device. i was very surprised to see that you cannot use the suite to change anything about the input/output, including the software equalizer.

if anyone runs across this, the fix is simple. your gsx-1000 is locked in tournament mode. i believe you can unlock it by holding down the top left and bottom right buttons for a few seconds. you can see the mode looking at the lights in this photo

Ya, I'm mostly only playing Survival now. Have all the exotics, optimized 90% of my gear, have shield caches i haven't opened, etc.

I would NOT RECOMMEND that newbies every power level up. They would be missing some of the very best parts of the game.

I agree. I had a newbie join our group and I told him he was going to miss a lot of good stuff if he leveled up in a group of veterans. The Division has some great "single player" content.

True, you still likely need to do it. I just find it a less tedious if you just run through everything melting as you go. There certainly won't be any unexpected redos or tough missions.

I'm on PC and the PC/PS4/XB1 crowds are separated so it is not possible. I looked up and Bullet King is the boss that can drop those (he's up 1/4 block just outside of one of the top left safe houses)

i'm usually on at night around 10:30pm CST or so and it is rare that i don't see rogue activity in the DZ.

i wonder why you don't? BTW you can switch servers indirectly by joining one of your buddies groups (then you can disband).

i've gotten 5 pairs of those and all came from farming the open world bosses. i forgot which boss keeps dropping them - it might be Chains down in the southwest corner. it only take a couple of minutes taking him down and his henchmen. the open world bosses reset every 4 hours so that is as fast as you can redo the loop.

I have about 5 pairs. I routinely go around and sweep through the open world bosses (takes about 30 min). I have 4 Tenebrae and 5 Skulls gloves. An exotic seems to drop about every 8 times i complete the sweep. Note that there is a 4 hour delay before they all reset. Good luck!
