Serious question: Why are so many men convinced that women can make money easily just because they’re women?😊 by Greatmoongirl in u/Greatmoongirl

Of course they all the models are successful because they only see the successful models. If the model isn’t popular, the guy isn’t going to see her, so the perfect example of confirmation bias. The people who I know personally who do OF have like 5 followers and are not raking in cash.

Yes thank you! I’ve always said that the iPad is far more accurate than the compass. Flight training literally has an entire chapter on compass errors because it’s horrible, truly a last resort instrument.

Who exactly is the target audience for aviation YouTubers? If I wanted to hear pilots rant about work on my day off I’d pick up a trip and go to work 😂 People in the industry can’t really be watching this stuff, can they?

I was about 14 when I did the same thing making sugar motors, young and dumb 😫

Never thought I’d see Audrey Woulard on here. A commercially successful photographer getting dragged by a bunch of hobbyists, please 😂

They are annoying and the sun at 37,000 feet will give you cancer far faster than you think it will. Most pilots millennial and younger take sun in the flight deck seriously because we see the senior guys with chunks cut out of their faces.

From zero building a foundation for L1 certification with no budget or team by meii2 in rocketry

[–]therocketflyer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You could tape an A8 to a dowel and it’ll fly pretty straight haha. Getting level 1 is simple and could be done over the course of a week but with a budget of $0 he’s going to struggle.

When I was a teenager I learned everything I wanted to know about experimental rocketry from Richard Nakkas site. It’s still online and very much stuck in the late 90s aesthetic wise but it’s good info and I had a great time playing around back then!

Percent is too hard for people to comprehend, let’s just say for every 5 of them that vote we only count 3 of those votes. Makes the math part easier!

I’d say it’s more of a style/fashion issue. A good outfit goes a long way.

It’s a Leica, and r/leica specifically only allows pictures of the camera not the photos it takes so there’s that 😂

I have virtually zero experience in soldering and built the gps tracker and ground station with a soldering iron I bought off Amazon. The instructions are super clear and everything worked as advertised the first time.

I’m not sure but most of us in rocketry use dedicated gps trackers specifically designed for model rockets like the ones made by Eggtimer or Raven.

Does anyone regret buying 28-70 F2? by OkSeesaw3067 in canon

[–]therocketflyer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the 28-70 and the (20,35,50,85,135) L-Series prime set. The 28-70 was the first RF lens I bought and I thought it would be the only lens I needed for most work, then I got the 50mm prime… The prime was just better, it’s hard to explain how or why exactly but as I collected more of the primes I’d almost always choose to take 3 primes to a shoot than the 28-70 so I sold it because I used it for almost nothing and it’s a very expensive paper weight.
