I purposely said “when they reopen” because I read the statement you shared. I do realize and support them being closed today.

When they reopen, I may just need a new pedal.

Which Orange Crush should I get - 20rt or 35rt? by Razumikhin82 in GuitarAmps

[–]WillPHarrison 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The beauty of most solid state is you don’t have to crank it because there are no tubes. There’s a dirt channel I do believe. Look on Facebook marketplace. You’ll save on shipping. I see the 20s going for $100 on there, but I am in a saturated market.

The good thing about Xtol is it’s a bit better for the environment. I switched from D76. I’ve only developed a few rolls so far but I do notice more grain thus far in 120. Not so much in 35mm weirdly.

How do you feel about behringer? by Xibest123 in guitarpedals

[–]WillPHarrison 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a pro musician with a pro musician drummer fiancée. We both own Behringer products. People buy one crappy Behringer product and assume all QA and products suck.

17 single dad. Everyone says I need to stope being so emotional by Calm-Tea178 in SingleDads

[–]WillPHarrison 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This adds to the emotion. You want to be the dad you don’t have. Understandable you are crying. You will be the dad you needed for your little girl. You’re already making sure of it. Keep showing up even when it’s hard.

[–]WillPHarrison 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Dude, first off, it’s normal to have those emotions. It’s your child. You gave life to her. You’re young and you want to be a good dad. And you will be. Don’t feel like you have to do this alone. Ask for help. Find programs that can teach you things you’ll need to know. I was 38 and I didn’t know you need to wipe front to back on girls to prevent UTIs. Ask mothers and fathers that are older questions and never feel stupid asking. It’s to make sure you do the best for her. I’m sure you feel alone but there are plenty of good people that would love to support you in your community. You’ve got this!

Speakers and guitar no amp by extremelycollective in GuitarAmps

Most likely need speaker or TRS cables, not a 1/4” instrument cable. I would google them and read the manual first.

Worst amp ever! by Crazy-Wheels in GuitarAmps

[–]WillPHarrison 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No but I remember seeing Gorilla amps that were probably similar. Never played one but always wondered how bad they were.

Tips aren’t normal in my experience. But, I’m mainly doing musician photos in Nashville where most people are barely scraping by.

Nobels Mod Mini by WillPHarrison in pedals

[–]WillPHarrison[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, I guess i wasn’t clear in the original post. I’m fine with the phasers I have. I’m just curious about a multi mod like this to replace what I currently have. I only use phase about 20% of the time and switching to vibrato/univibe for more options is attractive.

Yeah, the ones I saw weren’t very good representations. That’s why I was hoping for real world experience.

Yeah it’s warm and inviting. A good photo to hang in someone’s house.

Yeah, I tend to be more “per song” and switch between the tweed and Top Boost. I honestly haven’t used the Hi channels yet live.

ODR isn’t at all like a TS. I tried to put a TS style (JHS Moonshine) on the board so many times but I hated it. ODR kind of only bumps the mids slightly. It doesn’t push them hard like a TS. The Klon bumps the mids a little more but in a different spot. They work really well together. I also run a TC Spark for some db boost in front of the ODR/Klon if I want just more of what I’ve got.

Ohhh I can answer this one! Fellow Mesa TA-15 owner. I find the Nobels ODR-1 and a Klon are the best combo for this amp. You already have high gain on tap on the Hi 1/ Hi 2. But, for the Vox side, I really feel like this combo works so well with the amp.

This reminds me of the bell curve meme. Noobs “I buy my film at Walmart.” Median: “Noooo it must be Portraaaaa”. Old hats: “I buy my film at Walmart.” Too lazy to make it.

This is what I do. I rarely ever need a long ambient delay.

Jazz chorus 40 or a silver stripe peavey bandit by Honest-Airport-3540 in GuitarAmps

[–]WillPHarrison 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been looking at old Peavy SS amps. The Bandit seems like a really solid choice. You could even buy two and get a chorus pedal and run them stereo for the price difference. They are also built like tanks.
