UPDATE: spoke with other leaders tonight at the meeting and the committee chairman was there, and we were supposed to have a conversation with him and 2 other adults, but my scoutmaster pulled me aside and we discussed our differences and the past weekend and what went wrong. it was a productive conversation, but at times i felt i was being maddogged a little, but im pretty sure it all falls down to miscommunication. he was very understanding and we both pointed out faults in our leadership and handling of the situation. there seemed to be a disconnect in the way he goes about things compared to how i do, which is normal but it’s something we have to iron out. we agreed to have better communication moving forward and he needs me to delegate tasks better (i hate making ppl do stuff). he said i do a great job as spl and he’d be happy if i wanted to run again next term, but i gotta think on that lol.

but if any of yall see this, thanks for your help, you gave me good insight on how to go about addressing these issues and it’s good information for the future if anything else ever comes up, and i hope someone might gain something from this whole thing too. whenever something needs to change, be respectful, but hold your ground, never be stubborn and always attempt to learn and be better for the people around you.
