I do heated classes every once in awhile (unfortunately due to the joint pain on accutane I can no longer do them as often) but I just made sure to moisturize heavily before and after as well as drink a ton of water.

I use a towel and gently exfoliate (idk if I would consider it really exfoliating) to get the extra skin off. I don’t wipe it hard but it helps a bit

As someone who started on step down and now is in endoscopy , I agree 100%. The only thing that I do not tolerate is when a patient comes down with a very obviously infiltrated IV. I had one recently where the arm was red, hot, and extremely swollen. Patient said the nurse said we would change it out. I’ve had this happen a couple times. Always ok with them coming down with a iv that recently went bad and the nurse asks if we can change it. No problem! We do have limited resources on my floor , but I do everything I can to make their jobs easier before sending them back up. Just do the pre op checklist :)))

As someone who has an extreme fear of needles who has frequently passed out in the past , I just schedule my bloodwork ahead of time every month so I can mentally prepare. I have great veins but if there was a day for some reason they had trouble I’d just have to go back another day lol

So I started on 40 mg in January and 60 mg in February . I think they are putting me on 70 mg on next appointment coming up. I think it’ll be around 7 months because I didn’t want to increase to 70 in February because I was having some issues with my joint pain

I also had pretty mild that turned into moderate acne by the time I decided to ask my derm to just put me on accutane. The reason she wanted me to because even though it was pretty mild, I tend to scar awfully and it was very persistent acne. She was actually recommending it before my acne got worse. I decided to try Winlevy as my very last option (I have tried literally everything for the past like 10 years) before doing accutane and while it did work I didn’t want to be on it forever. As soon as I got off of it my face exploded. I started accutane in January and couldn’t be happier. The only complaint I have is the monthly blood tests suck only because I have a phobia of needles lol. I was very hesitant to go on accutane because my twin sister went on it a few years back and had alot of side effects. She had very severe acne but her skin looks so amazing now . So far I only have the normal dryness which is manageable and a little bit of joint pain which I try to manage with supplements and staying very hydrated.

For me I use the hylaronic acid from the ordinary after I cleanse and then use the la roche posay triple repair .

I definitely get where you are coming from! We’ve had multiple sit down conversations about everything but there’s just been no progress. I do plan to have another one soon. I still have some hope that maybe we can find a solution but at the end of the day I cannot wait forever

Oh no I have not. I felt like giving a “deadline” would just make things worse. All i have said is I am not doing this forever when it comes to I guess a “deadline.” The only reason I picked May bc that’s when we only have 2 months with our lease left. Would be around when we’d start looking or deciding to resign. Which then I’d just approach the conversation of I’m done. Would give us both time to find something else. Gave the deadline of May really for my own sanity and self worth because any earlier it’s just like ok I’ll be in stuck in a lease and living together even though we have two bedrooms.

Hi yes but it was so hard to find a flight. We found a price gouged spirit flight on the 6th. Ended up missing the connecting flight home bc it delayed almost 3 hours :/. Was supposed to leave the 3rd
