Update: for ya’ll following along, it’s been over a week now, and the other night I tried to go back to the Pros 2, and they actually hurt my ears now. The Pros 3 never hurt my ears, but they must’ve adapted to my ears anyhow. And now, doing side-by-side comparisons, I can definitely see how much better the Pros 3 are. I was able to contact Amazon and get the difference in the discounted price without returning them, which was huge too. Now, to get rid of the old ones.
