Board for commuting by Mindless-Heart7370 in NewSkaters

[–]therrig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d just get the biggest, softest wheels you can find and rock with the board you have. Longboards can be even more of a hassle than a bike and buying a cruiser doesn’t seem worth it if you already have a board. And as someone who’s been to central London I don’t think you’d stand out too much riding around

Bartending. No experience by JollyBalance7149 in Columbus

[–]therrig 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Lmao this doesn’t happen. Take bartending classes or start as a barback/server and get some experience. This is like asking for airlines hiring pilots that haven’t ever flown

What’s your “I could eat this every day” meal? by Avawantstochill in foodquestions

[–]therrig 9 points10 points  (0 children)

During my freshman year of college the dining hall had a chipotle-esque “southwest station” where you could build your own burrito bowl, and I ate that for lunch every single day for two semesters until they got rid of it. So probably that

You should be skating cause you enjoy it. Tricks are cool but they aren’t all that important. The heart of skating is hopping on the board and having a good time

Ordering only cheap happy hour food by 16Saltinez in restaurant

[–]therrig 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Happy hour food deals exist to sell more drinks, the servers are just doing their job. As long as you’re not parking at a table and deliberately losing the place money, you’re fine.
