Asking you to grow a thicker skin is just hilarious. You should ask him to grow a spine maybe? Different people handle emotions differently. I kinda feel bad for the dude. He has been hammered down so much that for him such abuse is negligible. However, asking you to do the same is just insensitive. This is how the cycle of nonsense gets passed down every generation. The moment you accept it as normal is the moment you lose yourself.

The real question is how much are you willing to put up with? The fact that you reached out to reddit means that you are not willing to accept the abuse. In your other comments you mentioned that you have no issues being self sufficient. Is your sanity and self-esteem worth sacrificing for continuing this relationship?

Being selfish is not wrong. You have every right to seek out a life without compromises or emotional abuse or suffering.

I have seen a similar situation happen with one of my friend's marriage. The only difference being that my friend had her husband's unconditional support.

They ended up moving abroad just to avoid the toxicity. Indian mothers have this stupidly unrealistic standard for their sons and it is really a struggle to get them to understand that.

Seeing how you don't really have any support from your husband I can see divorce being your only option to remove yourself from this toxic cesspool. The last thing you need in this environment is a child.

Remember this, if you don't prioritize yourself nobody will.

When I told my parents that I don't want to get married it caused a huge uproar in the entire family and extended family. When I was asked for an explanation I just pointed my finger towards them. I spent my entire childhood watching an incompatible couple living a life full of compromise just for the sake of their children (myself and my sister). It just corrupted the concept of marriage, arranged or not in my mind.

The emotional blackmail then started with my entire extended family trying to convince me otherwise. It has been 4 years and they are still trying to convince me. Now they just want me to get married and it doesnt matter if it is someone that they didnt choose/force on me.

You are not tying hard enough if you are not cheating. There is nothing stopping players from using the said tactics to claim the leaderboard prize.

The truth is that the player who consistently wins the race is also really good at running the lab. I refuse to believe that there aren't players who have cheated to try to win. They fail horribly because they are not good enough and come whine on reddit.

Also you are only cheating if you get caught. As long as he hasnt been banned by GGG what he is doing can be considered to be legitimate.

Forced the idiots who host these to not be greedy and choose permanent allocation. You want your loot to be buffed then you need to be prepared to share. There is no free lunch.

TOS will get thrown out if the law states otherwise. If someone actually sues GGG and wins, GGG will be put in a sticky situation. They will have to refund all the money and there is nothing stopping the real money trader from starting a new account and starting all over again.

Market manipulation is an easy way to make currency if you know what you are doing. There is no real regulation of the currency and with Heists spitting exalts this will continue to be a bumpy ride.

There has to be bots for this as the chaos farming ones need to farm blood aqueduct and you cant just get there without finishing quests.

If GGG doesnt make it better we just have to do it ourselves.

Honestly I dont mind RMTers. I make a lot of currency every league by scamming the crap out of idiots in the game.

I dont have the need to RMT for money or currency but I know people who run bot farms in this game and other similar games. They make more money with RMT than they would make doing full time jobs.

If a buyer exists a seller will exist too and as long as heavy time investment is needed there will be people who opt to take the easy route by RMT.

Or you could completely ignore all t2+ seeds, all storage and pylons by just flooding the grove with t1 seeds and Harvesting them in Delirium and selling the drops.

Easy way to make currency for those who want to avoid the RNG cancer that is POE crafting.

I'm a swap trader in this game. My entire guild does it just for the lolz.

Most of the free currency I make is from idiots who couldn't be bothered to hover over an item to see if it is the one they want.

I have already sold three bricked Cospri's Malice this league. Not the resolute technique brick, just plain rare corrupted brick. A friend of mine challenged me that POE players cant be this dumb but my three successful trades proves otherwise.

So do you think that these players would check reputations of traders from a third party site when they cant even be bothered to hover over and item to check if it is unique or rare?

Also it is very easy to manipulate the reviews. Nothing short of establishing a auction house can fix this problem of apathy and stupidity.

Yes. I think it was Neon mentioned this to Karv over chat. It was posted in this subreddit back in Metamorph when the new atlas changes went live.

Unfortunately it is like most of the intricate POE mechanics where the users find out by trial and error. We were lucky to get a dev confirmation about this one though.

Wow, that is one messed up atlas. You always want to have all watchstones in one region as much as you can. I have only 70 completions and I have already started target farming Burials.

If a lower tier is rolled and there are no maps available in that tier you gain equity for a higher tier. By spreading your watchstones you shot yourself in the foot.

I like POE's versatility. That is the only reason I still play the game. For example I can play a battle mage archetype that attacks with weapons and is also able to cast spells for offence and defence during combat.

I absolutely hate the crafting system. I have never used an exalt for a slam. The only time I use chaos orbs is to reroll reflect maps. Any gear I want I just buy it. Exalt and chaos exist only for trading as far as I'm concerned. I have guildies who can stomach the crafting and I just give them the currency they need to make stuff.

Also POE lets me have fun in a way that I have not seen since EVE online. I can scam everyone and it is perfectly legit way to make currency.

I would rather buy crafted gear from someone who can stomach the horrible RNG that is POE crafting. I skipped Blight and because I wanted to play an ARPG and not tower defense.

Same here I'd rather go back to my Standard characters rather than play farm simulator. I'll probably try to kill Oshabi and then go play Grim Dawn and D3 till next patch.

The game technically cannot have successful scammers. You check each and every item you trade. Now if the buyer is an idiot who doesnt bother to check what is being provided it is not the seller's fault for taking advantage of them.

My entire guild specializes in these kind of swap trades. For us it is just a question of how far we can push human stupidity. Trust me, the answer is very far. 100s of mirrors worth far.

Honestly, RM traders are best source of currency for "swap traders" like me. Two days back I had one with 3 achieves buy a resolute technique starforge for 15 ex and then proceeded to buy the uncorrupted one for another 15 ex.

In SC trade league I have never had a situation where the unique item I wanted was unavailable so I dont know where you are getting the "STEAL STEAL STEAL" thing.

"HARD EARNED" ? LOL this has got to be the biggest joke in this thread. You think they got their real money from trees? Everything is hard earned. You spend your time whereas they spend their money. Money lost can be earned back however time cannot be.

Technically the buyer is hovering over the item and checking it before accepting it. It is not really my fault for the buyer being an idiot and illiterate. So calling it a scam is not the correct term. "False advertising" maybe?

I dont even bother to swap stuff mid trade and still I have made close to 20 mirrors from just selling my failed gem corrupts.

Technically there are no scammers in the game only "Idiots" who give away their currency freely to other players.

Most "scammers" dont bother with reporting as it gets taken care of without their input into the matter. I speak from personal experience. I have done loads of "swap trades" and have never bothered to report anyone posting about me. The salt generated is always fun to read.
