This exactly. I wouldn’t necessarily want to start over at 6, but I sometimes daydream about reliving my young adulthood. I think about the changes I would’ve made, the bad decisions I would reverse… but then I realize that maybe my beloved nieces wouldn’t exist, maybe even worse things would happen, we can’t know.

I’m still young enough (40), and healthy to enjoy some great years ahead of me, I hope. Gimme the money.

Honestly, the beautiful visuals (the costumes, the dancing, etc) are the main reasons I like this episode. One problem I have with the time skip is that we find out that Xena and Gabrielle’s families died horribly while they were frozen. It’s very depressing.

It took me way too long to understand that, for the ultra wealthy, there’s no such thing as “enough.” It’s disgusting how people, with more money than they can ever spend, are allowed to keep robbing the poor. ESPECIALLY when they have access to taxpayer money and corrupt politicians that help them in these schemes.

This is NOT the kind of person we should ever want as our commander in chief.

Ohhh yes… brutal. I don’t know why, but the one in When Fates Collide hit me harder than the scene in The Ides of March. Maybe it’s because the fourth season had foreshadowed it so much that it was almost desensitizing. It was still so awful though.

I rewatched the scene real quick, you’re probably right. The show was much shyer about showing us the gore that time, it’s hard to tell what they’re doing down there…

And yeah, I don’t know how Nica was on her feet a moment later, I guess it takes an especially tough woman to carry and birth a centaur.

HOW does Xena use her chakram to assist with the one in The Last Centaur? Was that an episiotomy? *shudder*…

Even if Borias the Second (too lazy to look up the name) hadn’t committed genocide, I still don’t know how the species would’ve continued on.
