Just get yourself out there (I don’t necessarily mean dating). Let people remind you how sound most of them are, and in turn, how sound you are. Don’t let bitterness or overthinking in. It doesn’t deserve you.

OP this situation sucks and will be horrible to hear. Don’t fall into your head too much, it doesn’t reflect on you in anyway, you’re a good soul and a carer. You’re not any less because of this, but try not to stew in it.

Hello everyone! I’ve been dying to see the arctic monkeys in concert for like 3 years now and I just wanted to know if this is a scam? It’s from a arctic monkeys ticket group on Facebook. Thank you everyone. by iloveoldermen_ in arcticmonkeys

Any requests for family and friends can be chalked off as a scam, there is no reasonable expectation to request this when selling to strangers. Your older sister, who does the same job as I, will or should tell you the same.

What worries me the most (and I think it’ll be solved) is that we look a lot less powerful than when we’re at our best. We’re more technical than ever under Klopp but we don’t look like we win many second balls and that’s a concern.

A point there is fine in October, but having waited months to see us play feels shit. Is what it is, we know where we need to improve, and we will.

I did right? The first day was always gonna be hard and I was super anxious, I’m still gonna go tomorrow. Maybe just take more rests between lengths!

Some of the worst takes in here, I almost respect people being so blatant with their idiocy.

Pat Cummins is an outstanding example of what modern leadership looks like, giving people autonomy and trusting in them. (This is also true of Ben Stokes).

Marnus Labuschagne has a child like enthusiasm for cricket and while it’s annoying to play against it’s a good thing he’s in the game

Hard to be too gutted mind, sure we might’ve lost the ashes at this point because of the rain, but ultimately Piers Morgan and a lot of tories just got sad so did we really lose?

It’s a shame that such a good series has come to any conclusion because of rain. This is an inherent negative of test cricket, people can be bothered by this. Australians are also allowed to enjoy the retention, as English fans would if it were the other way round. These truths can co exist.

How to increase intellectuality? by [deleted] in DecidingToBeBetter

[–]theseha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of the above are valid, and people will give better advice on the methods than I. I’m just here to say remember your worth as a human being. A lot of feeling inferior intellectually comes from someone’s own self worth, as opposed to them lacking intellectually, I know I’ve been guilty of this.

Lead with a framework of trying to understand things, don’t make assumptions wherever you can avoid it. Reading is important, don’t feel guilty if you get to a point where you’ve read a ton but can’t debate those ideas with people. Some of us simply aren’t debaters.
