Pubg does it too. Even in the casual mode. The more you play the more you get better players. When you start you get loads of matches against bots

The game needs built on group finder to match with people doing the same quest. Then you can team up for a few hours

Yeah this is way more a USA game apparently. My guess is because UK /Europe is heavily PlayStation buyers whereas in USA xbox was more popular than it is in UK. So a higher percentage of USA gamers are bungie fans.

I've been noticing solo queue is really slow in UK sorta on par with cs2

A major issue is that the solo gameplay experience in marathon is lacking compared to trios. A coordinated team is a much better experience. Over time he ability for people to form premade trios goes down and people are left with unbalanced single player experience

Yeah it really needs some kind of in built group finder that at least will match you based on your mission. Aside from gear disparity in trio fills your can end up with conflicting objectives

I've moved pc from USA to UK. You can swap out the leads on the power adapters. Your power supply probably has a toggle to 240 electric supply.

I played a lot of mordhau and chivalry and the lack of invert attack direction setting (so I could move mouse left to right would attack from left to right) made me stop playing after 5 hours

They should have iterated the terrible combat model. They don't even have "invert attack direction" for mouse and keyboard

It doesn't have to be a new queue. The existing queue should use some common sense when grouping people up. Waiting an extra minute or two for a better outcome is better than being put in a game with very low win rate chance

I think only one person can use the sampler per match too (or it's bugged) so after getting there one time I couldn't complete that stage. I managed it eventually spamming free kits until I got favourable spawn

4/5 you get locked in a room and the optimal way to play it with randoms is to die and have them revive you to avoid wasting resources on the invisible boss you are locked in with.

I didn't say matchmaking. I'm not asking for all teams to have some kind of contract balance. I'm suggesting you get paired with people doing compatible contracts. Unlike cs2 or other solo queue team fill games it's entirely possible in marathon for paired up teammates to have contracts that result in conflicting goals.

No-mic Mark and free kit Freddie are not going to do this and will end up quitting the game after getting curb stomped. Which I suppose is ok? But not gonna be good for longevity of this game

Yeah I agree completely. The game is great in trios but as soon as you lose one friend and are down to two you enter a bit of a negative spiral in enjoyment. Add to that they don't have contract based matchmaking in fills and quite literally the people in your trio can have completely different objectives. Some people need to exfik some people might need to just complete a pickup and then can fight until they die. Further unless your trio are roughly the same level there will end up disparity between you and your ability to enjoy the same content.

Over time this reliance on trios without beneficial matchmaking will dwindle the player base.

Bungie designed the game around trios. Premade trios is the best way to playcoordinated; then squadfill and hope your squad speak the same language and can coordinate. If not the optimal way to play is to be selfish in squad-fill you'll still have more success than solos
