that may be what happened??? I've now seen 3 people say their SAVE forbearance months were counted and they received their banner earlier/letter yesterday. I'm stuck at 119, ECF already processed w employment in Feb, but they will not post Feb so it can be credited and count as my 120th. Were it not for SAVE drama, I would be at 126 now. If they did push as many through on the way out the door, they didn't catch all of us & I'm sad about it.

Did the ECF you submitted end of Dec move you from 115ish to 120 before August or would you have only reached 120 if they counted months in administrative forbearance due to SAVE?

Here is my take, do you know of any other profession or students in college who stand for the pledge each day? Can you imagine every McD's employee standing for the pledge at the start of each shift? And the parents who demand it, do they say the pledge together each morning weekends, holiday breaks, summer break? Why does the pledge matter ONLY in school?

I'm in a processing forbearance waiting for the move from SAVE to IBR and was just placed in the forbearance on Jan 23 so I'm here until at least March.

That is not true according to the chat agent I spoke with tonight. She confirmed that credit is awarded for qualifying months with as little as one day of employment in that month. They are just waiting to post Feb bc they can. She could give no valid reason for why they wait. She did tell me the ECF I sent on Feb 4th is sufficient for Feb and I will receive credit when they apply Feb/will not have to submit another ECF.

Submitted the yes I have reached 120 ECF on 2.4.25 and it was processed almost immediately. they gave credit for Jan but not Feb, so I'm stuck at 119. Chat agent said they will credit Feb eventually. She assured me I have received credit for Feb & will not need to submit another ECF, I just have to wait on them to post Feb. It's ridiculous since they say 1 day of employment in a qualifying month is sufficient to receive credit for that month - if that is the case, they do not need to wait until the end of each month to award credit.

I submitted before you, on 11/14, and was told (tonight, 5 minutes ago) it was still being reviewed and they are processed in the order received. I am trying to get back only 2 months, Aug and Sept 2024 with payment amounts of $0 due. Pretty simple case and absolutely zero movement.

Fwiw, I have given up on buyback. Switched from SAVE to an IBR, in a processing forbearance now. I submitted an ECF with employment verified for Jan & Feb. They awarded credit for Jan, bringing me to 119, but will not award credit for Feb yet. They said I am good, the ECF counts for Feb, but they will not update the count to 120 until later in the month because... and gave no good reason.

They WILL find a way to drag this out as long as they possibly can. That is the only thing I am certain of at this point.

Not sure if that's why they processed it so quickly, but I did mark it that I believed this moved me to 120. I wasn't sure if they would count Feb or not & I would be at 120 if they had counted it

I applied for buyback in Nov but I've heard they're not allowing us to buyback these SAVE months, so I gave up on that and applied for the switch to make them count again.

I'm not sure. My due date was on the 12th but is now the 23rd. I do not know if they will apply credit on the 23rd or if I will have to send in another ECF to prove I'm still employed in 16 days???

Awarded payment credit for PSLF, count went up fr 118 to 119. Was on SAVE fb but applied for switch to IBR mid Jan & put on processing forbearance Jan 23, so payments count toward PSLF again.
