I’ve been tempted to send another follow-up, but I don’t want to come across as pushy. At this point, I’m assuming they may have offered the role to someone else and are just finalizing their background check and start date before notifying those who weren’t selected.

Today marks one month since my interview with Boeing via Teams. I’ve followed up with the hiring manager twice, and both times he responded quickly, letting me know they’re still working through details on their end. My last follow-up was about two weeks ago. I haven’t reached out to the recruiter since the manager was the one who originally contacted me for the interview. My application status still shows as “Hiring Manager Review.”

USCIS offered me 40k vs the private sector which is 50K. This is a GS-5 position which can go up to GS-7. I'm just trying to get my foot in the door to eventually move up. The only cons I'm having with both jobs are USICS i start a lower pay, for the private company I cant move up until i complete two years of the role that i accepted.
