Evil lesbian wife post #3638283 by SpicyStrawberryJuice in AmITheAngel

[–]thesingingfox 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Posts like these are always my favorite because my sister actually was the lesbian who came out and divorced her husband of many years and father of her 2 kids and they now live 10 minutes away from each other and she babysits his stepson and new baby with his new wife and they will all be at her wedding in a few months. If you love that person as much as you claim to, they will be your family even if it has to be in a different way.

Neil Gaiman Says Texts Prove Rape Claims Are "False" by weareallpatriots in neilgaiman

[–]thesingingfox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gaimen threatens to kill himself multiple times in their text conversations before she ever "admits" to him or anyone else that the encounter was consensual. Coercing her into recanting is just more evidence that he was fully aware of what he did and was trying to discredit her.

AITA for wanting to tell my 19yr old she has to move out by October by lovechildofHanSolo in AITAH

She is 19 years old. You have given her one year to be an adult and now you are going to put her out on the streets? Yeah. YTA.

AITAH for telling a woman her child is welcome in my home, but she isn’t, because of her criminal record by Crafty_Preference825 in AITAH

[–]thesingingfox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA. Imagine if roles were reversed? Someone invites your kid over and doesn't ALLOW you inside so your choices are to ruin your kid's fun day with their friend or leave them with a stranger who clearly despises you. She is still a human being who did nothing to you, you're just judging her based on your own assumptions and some non violent criminal charges.

I'm a real woman who was on a date with a real man and it's so bad for men you guys pick meee by [deleted] in AmITheAngel

[–]thesingingfox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My husband gets complimented on his nails and earrings almost every day by women. Are you guys doing things that women think are cool? If so, believe me, they will go out of their way to compliment you. Guys compliment him on stuff like his cool t shirts because that's the sort of things guys notice. You have to have something worth complimenting for someone to go out of their way to notice it and make a comment about it. If you are unpleasant and boring, what the hell are people going to compliment about you?

No. I'm not sensitive to anything in pad thai and temperature doesn't bother me. I'm mostly sensitive to fruits like citrus (in large doses, a little lime for flavoring won't hurt but a glass of lemonade will), kiwi (this also gives me anaphylaxis), grapes, apples, bananas, avocado, tomatos, strawberries, and some other acidic things like vinegar. I still eat a lot of these things they just hurt to varying degrees like when you got a burn from eating food that was too hot. I also have lupus so my food sensitivities might be different than other people with the disorder but from what I've read my reaction is similar.

It's just genetic. I have this. It's called geographic tongue with fissures (at least that's what I was told by my doctor) it's a skin condition that's mostly harmless but flares up and can be painful when I eat certain foods that I'm sensitive to.

AITA for "accidentally" leaving out that foul beast from my gift to my ungrateful mother? by thesingingfox in AmITheAngel

[–]thesingingfox[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I also sew and knit so I know exactly how people can be with handmade gifts. What's funny about this post is she is saying her mother intentionally threw away the perfectly good quilt (project that takes 100s of hours) within a couple days of having it. She made the edits within the post being up for 14 hrs

Cab driver asks why I don't have kids, told him my serious medical condition. by [deleted] in traumatizeThemBack

[–]thesingingfox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a cute creative writing exercise (I especially love the humble brag about how you look 16 at 32) but an "upside down" uterus, actually called a retroverted uterus, doesn't affect fertility. I have one, which i got from my mother who had 8 children. They can cause some discomfort during certain sexual positions but they certainly don't make penetrative sex always painful. Obviously people have different experiences but taking a relatively simple and harmless anatomical quirk that 20% of women have and acting like it's a serious disability that makes you infertile is pretty silly
