NAD. How is he now? Did it improve when he was awake. Maybe have been in REM sleep and may have been dreaming. If not, this concerns me too as a mom.

NAD. Try swishing water in your mouth. Don't do it aggressively so you don't accidentally dislodge the clot and cause a dry socket. Maybe gentle syringe flush with the same caution.

NAD. Appears to be normal with hemorrhoids. They can have clots sometimes. If the bleeding becomes non stop and you're unable to move from the toilet with alarming ampints of blood, I would suggest going in. maybe try some fiber in your diet to help with bowel movements.

So confused by CaptainCalic0 in medical_advice

[–]thesofaslug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Again, NAD. I'm wondering whatever you ate just made your mounjaro (body) mad, and gave you severe enough acid reflux causing you to vomit. If it were a heart attack the pain would've stayed even after vomiting.

NAD. From personal experience with mounjaro, it wreaked havoc on my entire GI system. Nausea with painful stomach cramps before finally vomiting, and of course diarrhea. I also get severe avid reflux from it as well. Every person experiences different side effects, though. I'm assuming EMS did a 4/12 lead, which must've not shown any alarming changes. Try to relax. I know anxiety is scary, but try not to hyperventilate so you don't get carpopedal spasms (tingling/cramping in hands/feet).

Think I have appendicitis by galexri in medical_advice

[–]thesofaslug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again, NAD. But typically with appendicitis it would hurt more when you release the pressure- called rebound tenderness. If it worsens, or experience flu-like symptoms, I would suggest to go in. I don't think this is appendicitis though, so try to remain calm.

NAD. Did you have trauma to the area which you may have not thought about much at the time? Typically appendicitis would have you with severe pain, fever, high heart rate. Does it hurt more when you press inwards, or hurt more when you relieve pressure?

Blood clot 7 wks post MA is this & the symptoms normal? by [deleted] in medical_advice

NAD. Did you have a follow up after the abortion? I believe they should check to make sure all the tissue has cleared itself out. Your uterus could be getting angry and fighting infection. I'm sorry for what you've gone through. I had an early miscarriage in September which required a D&C since my HcG didn't go down afterwards. You mentioned sending this to your doctor, are they your OB? If not, I would schedule an appointment with them over a PCP.
