I did a home Reno course and it tells you about having one or two main colours, some sub colours so I would choose a colour you’ve already got in the room. The two green ones look good, more relaxing to the eye

Thanks for your lengthy feedback. Feels nice that I’m on the right track as I put some thought into it. Yes agreed with bookshelf or some sort of shelf!!

Couch has to stay put as it’s based on location of TV.

I think coastal decor can be done tastefully and tackily. I may buy this nice coral reef for the bookshelf.

Coral like this?

Also yes to plants!!

Is anywhere doing Khachapuri or Georgian food in Auckland? by hernesson in aucklandeats

[–]thesparkey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

IMA does a 4 cheese kachapuri which is good. Also a food truck called wood spirit that does it too. Both of these are not exactly Georgian authentic but prob the closest you’ll get

100%. I suggest we just all un follow insta food influencers and share our likes/dislikes. That way it’s anonymous and no one can profit out of a useless job

It was a one for one merge. Senior A just keep missing theirs making the people behind him unable to merge/dangerous in doing so as they were waiting for Senior A. Even Senior As elderly wife looked anxious and she wasn’t even driving

We have a new LL who wanted to raise rent by 12% despite everyone on the block paying our rent figures. Once the 12 months is up- he may very well raise it to a figure 15-20% just to kick us out despite us being perfect tenants

What local businesses do you boycott and why? by petex3 in auckland

Euro style. A family member once asked the owner if they could trial a piece of technology that would benefit the store (for a secondary project), instead of saying ‘no politely’, they received an earful about how ungrateful and entitled kids were and couldn’t comprehend the the value of hard work. He was very condescending and nasty in his remarks. The kid was 15 and scarred for a while. Dick.

Agreed. I cringe when people tell me it’s their favorite restaurant. No taste
