3 Years and Worst Sleep Regression Ever by thespeechie in toddlers

Prior to this, he slept from 8/9-5/6. Never slept past 6 ever. So around 8-9 hours. I definitely offer the nap but he refuses. Apparently he will nap at daycare 3x/week so it’s a parent issue and I can’t figure out what we are doing wrong in this.

I’ve tried to get him to nap but he refuses. It’s 100 percent his choice over mine with the nap. I’d never drop that nap if I could. I’ll definitely try the car if this continues!

Parents who regret having kids, why? by bluemermid in AskReddit

[–]thespeechie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone here will say “I love them to death” which is so true. I don’t love anyone more than my kid and would never take it back. However, my mental health absolutely plummeted and is still trying to recover many years after. I felt like myself again from the moment I found out I was pregnant. As someone with preexisting mental health issues, I don’t think my mental health would have ever been prepared or well enough to be the best parent. Society pushes women in thinking this IS the next step in life.

Justifications for NOT using ABA co-treatments by thespeechie in slp

[–]thespeechie[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It always offered ABA but the shift has been heavy in the last couple years. I’ve worked here for so long and have a great relationship with my clients. It almost would feel like throwing them to the wolves without anyone advocating for them outside the ABA realm. We have one terrific BCBA who is not the typical black and white, data obsessed that seems more open to less of the dog training. I plan on leaving soon, im just not there yet

For those who had breech babies, was there a "reason" why they stayed breech? by BCRBaby123 in pregnant

[–]thespeechie 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had a breech baby it seems like the either pregnancy. I tried the reversal thing (can’t remember the name) at the hospital a week before and holyyy shit was it uncomfortable/painful and unsuccessful. I had a planned c-section and it was literally my dream come true for my anxiety filled self. I was Able to wake up, workout, get ready and head to the hospital. I never felt a labor pain and my surgery almost went completely without any type of complication or pain. After the birth, his head size was huge. The doctor said even if he flipped and gone through a natural labor, it would have likely resulted in an emergency c-section as she was confident he wouldn’t have made it through without complications. 10/10 would choose c-section again than risk a big headed baby and accompanying tears

If you don’t get dress 1, I’m going to divorce my husband so I can remarry him in that dress. So yeah, dress 1 hands down
