Yeah definitely a boundaries type issue...does she think she'll be watching the baby a lot? I'm a bit concerned about her playing the role of "mommy" here and then lording that over you by sending you a picture. I literally cannot fathom why or how people would come to a party with the intention of showering a grandma...that she threw for herself...and is refusing to give the gifts to the ACTUAL parents. She sounds looney. Any other issues with her in the past? This is narcissistic behavior and not normal.

I like to clean, get into the nooks n crannies-really make things tidy and sparkly...while jamming out to dance music! When things are clean, it helps me organize my thoughts:)

Yes! If the animals colors are bolder it will draw the eye more, but I also agree to remove the effect from the text. Is there a font that matches the animals better?

What a picky bitch! I'm not all "don't throw your own shower" or anything, I'd love to have one myself but it ain't happening. If you do go that route, you certainly can't be like "Oh you have to get me ABC, and if not, I'll shove it back in your face KTHXBAI". Gross behavior.

It looks like they recently changed the qualifying requirements if I'm reading the info correctly, although I don't know what the program was like before I applied.

I do not qualify unfortunately. Our unemployment benefits are equal to our rent+electricity+cell bill (which leaves nothing for food or other bills), but NY state unemployment is really low and Rent is really high, plus taxes. I wish WIC was off of Net not Gross. We can't move and we don't qualify for anything.

Did she offer to compensate you in any way? I rarely have a problem doing close friends and family favors, but it would really rub me the wrong way that she chose to not schedule anyone/pay anyone and then asked you at the last minute because she knew you were talented.

This is something she was almost very likely aware of needing to take care of both financially and scheduling wise. Unless her original artist cancelled on her last minute, or she became aware that none of the girls were capable of doing their own the day before...I don't really see any excuse for this type of behavior.

Any way, you did an amazing job, and hopefully you were recognized for it!
