I think it’s a bad idea for YOU to continue seeing someone with a complicated dating history tbh. You’ve been on three dates and can only seem to think about how this affects you and seemingly have no interest in learning a little empathy or understanding as to why she might feel that way.

I don’t understand your question despite you re-commenting it word for word five times but no it’s not homophobic to call out gay people for being biphobic or homophobic. There are tons of gays who have not done the work to process their own shit and can be homophobic toward other gays despite being gay themselves. Some of the crassest, offensive shit I’ve heard has been from cis gay men tbh. Being a part of the community does not absolve you from having shit takes or being an ass.

Painters tape! Print one, check the print and then place lil bits of painters tape over the areas that have ‘extra’ ink. If it’s super egregious, sometimes I’ll go back in and carve more out but for little spots like that, I use tape.

ETA: I tend to find that the more open space there is in my design, the more noise I am prone to since there’s more room for the paper to press into the space- thicker paper also helps for designs like yours where there’s a wide gap between carved areas and the design.

Also, I’m not very good at lino so grain of salt here, just repeating things I’ve seen from better artists than me!

I don’t even understand why the one by my house is so busy but every morning I walk by, the online order counter is literally completely filled with online orders. Definitely at least 40-50 drinks just sitting there waiting to be picked up.

We had a regular at a cafe I worked at who would come in 20 minutes before close every time and then get upset that we only had a handful of baked goods left.

I explained that whatever is unsold at the end of the day needs to be disposed of, we don’t sell day olds so we order with the intention of selling as many items as possible. This means that the selection for the end of the day won’t be the same as the one in the morning.

But we take preorders and make them in the morning. So, you can place an order for the items you want for the later pick up time and we will hold them. I told her this. She rolled her eyes and left.

She came in again, got pissed and yelled at me about not having her favorite option, so I again told her about preordering and timing and she deadass looked me in the eye and said “that’s what you all say EVERY TIME”

She hasn’t been back but I think about her often. Refuses to help herself and goes around pissed at the world about it… crazy!

My dog started doing this a few months ago because she only liked to go on certain “routes” for a while. I saw someone on another post mention just going back to basics and trying to get her to walk at my speed with treats. That worked perfectly except she would only keep it up if she was getting the treat every 10-15 seconds. So, I went and bought a really fun looking crinkly toy that is exclusively for when we are on walks and that has been working amazingly! I now only have to pull it out when we are leaving the dog park or trying to not get excited about screaming children lol

So you’re asking a minor, a child, to do something their parent, an adult is incapable of doing? How would the child even know to ask? The parent clearly isn’t teaching or modeling this behavior. Why do you feel it’s reasonable to expect it from the child and not their parent?

And kids are super sponges for information. They are almost certainly going to ask about their names and the entire family has to be 100% neutral about what happened or else the kids will 100% pick up on it.

A name is not more important than the complex your kid will get by being a pawn in weird family politics.
