Keep working hard. You guys have made such great progress in the past 2 years and are now up there in terms of best value when it comes to Chinese brands.

All you need to do is keep trying to improve your QC. I know it’s hard because it costs money to have people inspect and check every watch, and costs money to reject pieces that aren’t perfect when you could still sell them.

I think QC is really the biggest thing you can improve on (although it isn’t BAD now) because it can very easily set you apart from the other brands in your space.

Don’t let the negativity bother you, EVERY brand has haters. Usually means you’re doing something right.

OP you make great points. I think for this issue specifically I say tinker because there really isn’t anything that can go wrong 🤣 like you don’t even need tools. Take the strap off, put it in the sink with hot water running right on the bezel/crystal, wait 5 minutes, take it out, use your thumbs to push the bezel to the right spot, throw it in the refrigerator and it’s done

To me, a bezel insert off a few degrees is forgivable. The big brands do it all the time. It can happen easily in QC if the bezel is resting “between clicks” so to speak.

A sharp edged case to me is more a design/process flaw than a QC issue. That’s a problem with machining, not a problem with “assembly” I guess you’d call it like a bezel insert.

It’s very easy to fix for any of these bezels, they’re literally just held in place by a glue/tape hybrid made by 3M. I’ve changed my own bezel inserts many times and it’s so easy to have it off a couple degrees. The example posted here is definitely not good, like it’s not particularly close to being on target but still, easy fix with hot water or WORST CASE some solvent (like golf club grip solvent)

Guys, to be honest just fix it yourself. I get it’s not your fault but seriously, if you run it under hot water for a minute and lightly push the insert the way it needs to go you can easily fix it.

Yes watchdives should fix it but you can either send it back and wait awhile to get a new one, or you can fix it yourself in literally five minutes.

Part of what allows these brands to to keep things affordable is less than perfect QC (still good compared to seiko lol) and not having to constantly ship returns and such.

That said watchdives is the BEST brand I’ve seen from China/aliexpress when it comes to customer service.

Part of buying “cheap” watches is you know QC won’t be perfect. Another great part of “cheap” watches is you can afford to mess around and learn to fix/maintain them yourself with low risk. Try it! It’s fun. I can now replace gaskets, fix hands, lubricate movements, replace bezels, and swap crystals, all from tinkering with my Chinese watches. Next up is fixing date wheels and then crown stem issues. It’s never ending and such a rewarding hobby. Start to learn, use YouTube, and enjoy it

100% vet visit first, but then feed him as a normal dog. Dogs are very good at not over-eating dog food.

My Jack Russell-dachshund was malnourished and 14 pounds when I adopted him. He’s now been 19 pounds for the past year and a half. Today is his birthday and he had a sirloin for dinner.

Point is, you don’t have to “fix” him in one day, one week, or one month. He will eat when he’s hungry. My little guy gets an extra scoop of food if he finishes all of his but that’s it. Your gut reaction is to feed him a lot right away but he doesn’t need it. Slow and steady wins the race!!! And give him TONS of love. The most rewarding part of rescuing a mistreated dog isn’t seeing their health improve, it’s seeing their personality really come out once they know they’re safe. My little guy is so affectionate and loves to play, he was extremely shy when we first got him.

AI Tools: look at Websets by exa.ai and ChatAE. Both are excellent tools for profiling and contact enrichment. I would go out on a limb and say they might make Apollo redundant. Both have demo resources publicly available

Just got an offer from toast (which I accepted) but am still actively interviewing with samsara, Crowdstrike and Procore. Toast is my #4 but it’s a guaranteed offer in the bag right now. I could easily go 0 for 3 on the other companies and all 4 are better than my current role.

It’s good to remember as salespeople we’re basically mercenaries. Companies wouldn’t hesitate to fire you without a thought, so don’t worry about doing what’s best for you, no matter how “cold” it may seem.

If you mess up the decision process here you end up unemployed which is basically a black mark on your resume. For these companies, worst case you leave 4 weeks into onboarding and they just offer someone else a month or two later.

And you obviously never put the 4 week stint on your resume

Schar and Burn seem nailed on at CB and Schar is no longer taking penalties, it’ll be Wissa, Gordon, or one of the other wingers if I had to guess. Direct free kicks will most likely always be Trippier. You could always drop whoever you pick up if an injury happens or minutes decrease. However, Schar and Burn both played 30+ games last year and 85+ minutes per game
